@vtchakarova A reallocation of oil, used only for industrial purposes. Transportation should be electrified, home & business power using renewables, and WAY less consumer junk & packaging, water bottles etc. Why any nation chooses to be a slave to oil, especially as net importers is a mystery

Unless we get a “sudden” announcement of major technological breakthrough in the field of nuclear fusion or the field of renewables (storage, batteries, etc), I just don’t see how the world will survive this scale of physical scarcity & its cascading effects on the global system.
