Hi techie friends. My colleague Kat is looking into automated live captioning software for the @adfreecities conference next month, to make sure the event is as accessible as possible. We'll definitely be looking at @otter_ai; any others you think we should consider? Thanks!

@carla_denyer @Andi_Mohr @lougreenbaum @TJM_Sparkles @DougRouxel Also you can type into the closed caption option in zoom yourself - if you’re speedy! Or mix it with another lowfi option like dragon transcription. Otter is probably the best balance between cost and ease though. Happy conferencing!

So we used otter ai for meetings and fringes etc. But we use ai media for plenaries and speeches, it’s a fantastic service and a real person at the end of the software making it more accurate. Obviously v different costs associated to the two options...
