The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act will expire soon. FBI Directors Mueller, Comey, Wray, and even Patel have used this law to unconstitutionally snoop on Americans without getting a warrant. It’s easily fixed if/when reauthorized by Congress. Add 3 words: Get a Warrant!

But if the Republican platform still advocates limited government, fiscal responsibility, and Constitutional fidelity, then Massie is not only far from a RINO, but among the few true Republicans. Trump banned any government agency from using Anthropic because Anthropic didn't want the U.S. government to use its AI for mass surveillance of the American people or to develop autonomous weapons that in theory could be used to kill Americans. So why is Anthropic the bad guy?

Strategic weapons such as mass surveillance and autonomous weapons are a deterrent. They keep the peace by MAD as surely as do other WMDs. The Cold War arms race, space race, and subsequent advances haven’t changed the principles of peace keeping. No private company should elevate its fine-sounding ethics above our national need to be stronger than those who would seek to destroy us. Count on it: the CCP is already working on these horrific weapons. In a sense, we again need to get to the Moon first. The Trump administration is not disintegrating. It understands why AI is so important for the future of humanity.

The Trump administration is totally disintegrating. This is beyond shameful and I would argue criminal to try to destroy a company for standing against mass surveillance and autonomous weapons. I'd love to hear why you disagree with me if you do.

I'm seeing more and more evidence that the deep state is very much still calling the shots. And now we have yet another undeclared war. "Under Trump we will have no more wars." Maybe he meant no more declared wars.

@lethall ... anyone else and if they say its not ready for full autonomous use in weapons systems, I would take their word for it. When I said Trump admin is disintegrating, what I also had in mind was: gutting of DOGE, Charlie Kirk assassination cover up, protecting the pedos.

Some wheat is sprayed with glyphosate just before harvest to help dry the crop. The weed killer is applied to wheat intended for human consumption. The EU banned this use. Some claim glyphosate is used for desiccation on only 3% of US wheat crops. We should end this practice.
