@BusterBeyond @TheFilmJunkee Then why did you make it about other DCU projects?
English

@TwoPawShakur @TheFilmJunkee But he’s said he was never writing it, so your original point doesn’t make sense
English

@BusterBeyond @TheFilmJunkee I wasn’t talking about anyone other than Gunn. I said “He…” because he was going to write The Authority. I was talking about why he couldn’t write the Authority film. Clayface is written and directed by someone else.
English

@TwoPawShakur @TheFilmJunkee You’re saying it couldn’t happen cause they couldn’t make it guardians… well what about the projects we know that are releasing that are nothing like guardians?
English

@ENJU1123PIPI Every morning at 7:30am I have a very long pee. At 7:40am I have a big bowel movement. Every day. mainichi. Unfortunately I don't get out of bed until 9:00am.

This has been the most busted week for doing YouTube ever. I was sick with the cold/flu and lost my voice at the start of it, and then Ava's play began it's performances at the end of it. I streamed as much as I could but I just didn't have much energy or time.
We did that nice Dungeoneer series. Everyone liked that.
Yellow Flash can have this weekend.

@EthanVanSciver Its saturday night and youre letting flush win

@Fortress_of_DC Which is mega lame. They really thought telling the audience they were going to get rid of one of the two most popular green lanterns in this show was a good idea? Hal and John are the two most popular, Hal is the most popular, audiences don’t want to see one of them retire.
English

It means that only one of the two will wear that ring
Huff@Huff4Congress
“Only one can wear the ring.” Literally they introduced Guy Gardner in Superman. It’s the Green Lantern CORPS. There are thousands of them, all wearing rings. This is silly.
English

@MoJus23 @Fortress_of_DC YES. Or if the Lantern loses his will power and quits.
English

@Fortress_of_DC … doesn’t the ring pick the person AFTER the former dies?
English

@Renzo147369 @Fortress_of_DC That's not up to Hal. The ring chooses the successor not the quitting lantern.
English

@Fortress_of_DC I guess Hal is forced to retire and give the his position to John.
English

@ScottMcCreaWest Conquest is the best sequel in my opinion but I love Escape for many reasons
English

@aaronlopresti @JonathanJColton And unfortunately Lee Marvin had become uninsurable due to his vices
English

@JonathanJColton Actually Spielberg's first choice for Quint was Sterling Hayden.
English

@TwoPawShakur @ScottMcCreaWest Casino Royale and Skyfall are already canon, sorry bud
English

There is only one, objectively great James Bond movie, and that's From Russia, With Love.
Many others are terrific; only one great.
James Melville 🚜@JamesMelville
I’m my opinion, the greatest James Bond movie is Skyfall. It took the franchise into deeper and darker dimensions. What do you think is the greatest James Bond film ever made?
English

@TheCinesthetic And the original theatrical soundmix (not heard since the original dvd release) is extraordinary. Shame the blu-rays and recent 4K editions have remixed and flattened the audio mix.
English

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) is Peter Weir’s most audacious work..a film so committed to authenticity it becomes poetry. The sea itself becomes antagonist. Zimmer’s score howls. Criminally, unjustly underrated.
cinesthetic.@TheCinesthetic
A movie that's in your top 25 list but unlikely to be in anyone else's?
English

@ScottMcCreaWest @JamesDienh64296 One of my favorite things to do every few years is to read the entire series of Fleming Bonds. I am about due
English

@JamesDienh64296 @TwoPawShakur I would go with Dr. No, From Russia With Love and On her Majesty's Secret Service, but all solid choices.
English

@BobaTalks A Green Lantern does not “step away” from his duties. Will power is what makes a Lantern work. If Hal is training a successor then he’s given up already and has no will power. The ring would’ve already left to find a worthy bearer. The ring chooses a new guy, not the quitter.
English

Am I the only one who thinks that this *might* not play out that way?
One of the themes for Hal Jordan in the series is: “Our show is in a lot of ways about replacement - when should someone step aside and when is it time for the next person to take the reins? That push and pull between those two characters is really important”
If Hal only gives over the ring when he's dying, that would be a lot less meaningful compared to what the showrunner was describing the series is going for.
It'd be a more compelling arc for him to come to that decision on his own in contrast to where he starts the season. After decades as a 'Lantern Legend', he recognises it's ok to let John carry the mantle forward.
TheBatstan@TheBatstan
"Only one can wear the ring." You might as well just write "RIP Hal Jordan" at this point.
English

i feel like there’s a fundamental misunderstanding of what Green Lantern Is bc what do you *mean* only one can wear the ring
