@RealJamesWoods Lol Republicans are a cancer on the country. Reagan, Bushs', and Trump have proven it.

@PhysInHistory Remember the 'big bang'? Yeah, they swung and missed on that one as well. These guys just make stuff up to rationalize the math variance in the formulas THEY created

In 1905, Einstein theorised that time doesn’t pass at the same rate for everyone—it depends on speed and gravity. A moving clock (relative to you) ticks more slowly than your own, and a clock deeper in a strong gravitational field also runs slower than one farther away. So two people who move differently or sit in different gravitational environments will age by slightly different amounts, even if they later meet again and compare watches.

@historyinmemes So impressed that the girl you expelled earned you a letter from Robin Williams. Despite it expressing you reverse your decision, you frame it to shove it in his face that you ignored his request. Weird flex

The young actress who played Robin Williams’ daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire was expelled for missing too much school during filming, and Robin Williams wrote a respectful letter asking the principal to reconsider—while she wasn’t allowed back, the school was so impressed they kept and framed his letter. Here's the letter he wrote: Dear Mr. (blanked out) I have spent three months working on 'Mrs Doubtfire' with Lisa Jakub. I have found Lisa to be bright, inquisitive, and an eager to learn young lady. She is charming, and a delight. A student of her caliber and talent should be encouraged to go out in the world and learn through her work. She should also be encouraged to return to the classroom when she's done to share those experiences and motivate her classmates to soar to their own higher achievements. Lisa also should not be denied the social learning experiences that come with High School and being a teenager. I respectfully request that you reconsider your policy and allow Lisa the opportunity to work and attend school. She is an asset to any classroom. Best Regards, Robin Williams

@realCarola2Hope One verse does not define everything else. If it isn't consistent throughout the text, it is warping the scripture to fit a narrative. If you can't read the entire thing and say "Yes, that seems consistent" you are looking for a conclusion before you read a word

“Follow Jesus, not the Pope” is peak Protestant cope. If you really wanted a personal relationship with Jesus, you’d submit to the Church He founded instead of your feelings, your pastor, or a 500-year-old protest. Jesus didn’t invent denominations. He said “Upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”
Jillian Anderson@Jillie_Alexis

You don’t need the Pope to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

@JamesSurowiecki You disagree with the Senate then? YES it is specifically designed to be anti-democracy...because we don't have a democracy.

There's no good civic argument for the electoral college. It was arguably necessary to ensure the ratification of the Constitution, but it's an anti-democratic device that gives some American citizens far more voting power than others, based purely on where they live.

If you paid even a penny in federal income tax last year, you paid more than: Tesla Southwest Disney Live Nation HP United PayPal CVS Health Palantir Citigroup PG&E 3M That's right. They paid $0 in federal income tax. It's time for big corporations to pay their fair share.

I was reading the comments and here is the actual answer. They don’t understand walkability. It sounds fake to them. Like Disney land. They don’t think it’s real. For example, they think in a walkable city you just take away the cars but everything else stays the same. So they think you’ll have to walk 10 miles to Walmart with bags in your hand. THEY REALLY BELIEVE THIS. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭

@JossSheldon It's not about taxes. It's about economics. Left-wingers want to increase government benefits, right-wingers want to increase government enforcement of those benefits. Normal people want to be left the hell alone

"Left-wingers want high taxes" Err, no... Left-wingers want to tax the rich. They want to redistribute that wealth to the masses, and invest in public services, to improve the lives of regular folk. Right-wingers want to tax the poor. They want to give your money to the rich.

The Earth is not a perfect sphere, but an oblate spheroid, meaning it bulges at the equator and is flatter at the poles. This is due to the centrifugal force from the Earth's rotation.

@NoFilterSkin Occam's Razor. Is it more plausible to assume life began when the cells began to split under their own DNA, or do mental gymnastics require you to pull random >1% of cases assumptions to prove a meaningless point. It's a life!

IF YOU BELIEVE LIFE STARTS AT CONCEPTION, CONSIDER THIS: IDENTICAL TWINS CAN SPLIT FROM A SINGLE EMBRYO UP TO DAY 14. SO DID THE ORIGINAL EMBRYO HAVE TWO SOULS? OR DOES THE SECOND SOUL ARRIVE LATE? THE IDEA THAT LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION SOUNDS PROFOUND-UNTIL YOU RECOGNIZE IT AS A THEOLOGICAL ASSUMPTION WITH NO BASIS IN BIOLOGY.

@nyaraVT Factually incorrect. None of the things you described are possible without the enforcement of laws. A businessman cannot come in and force me to buy his products, but a law stating I have to gives him the power to call an officer and threaten me with violence if I don't.
