@TxeTony
lost my love for Ldn. LTN’s, TFL, and local cllrs have destroyed it for me and my mental health.

@LondonTrafficW1 Wigmore Street JW Wimpole Street, getting closed for utility works.

@ediz1975 People forget the roads are many people’s office. Trades, taxi, buses need roads. It’s like giving you your new laptop as a typewriter. It will slow you down make your job harder and if you complain you get figures, stats and any reason why they think it’s better thrown at you.
English

@Brekkie_Bangers @ediz1975 A fire engine and 2 police cars the other day suddenly stopped and looked shocked high st was closed. Fire engine turned round and went back down the high st the wrong way. Fuck peoples life’s and property ah? Oh and disabled people, don’t let them go to Camden… Twat.
English

@ediz1975 The solution is to make Hawley Road two-way for buses, aligned with the southbound bus route that's been in place for donkeys years. Hopefully it's never going to see traffic again. Fuck taxis.
English

@JoyOfPedals @ediz1975 @JourneysPlaces @PGCommunity LTNs have made things worse for the majority and only helped a few. They are not the answer.
English

This morning I was a passenger stuck in heavy traffic outside @JourneysPlaces selfish LTNs …. @PGCommunity gave themselves quiet roads while increasing harm upon children living outside them …
Imagine harming children with INCREASED HARM for personal gain ..
Ps single occupancy vehicles leaving LTN and zero bikes
Ediz@ediz1975
The LTN advocates continue to lie while harming outsiders …… Almost 4 years here now ….. 4 long poisonous years for the children living outside the selfish zones ….. @JourneysPlaces @RichardEason stated it evaporated……. Life expectancy reduced… Quality of life reduced for outsiders..

@xjib @thelonypone 2/2 Many cyclists keep stating, the impact from a car is far worse than an impact from a bike. As you’ve said you quite safely went round the van at walking pace. So seems the safety option for all. But you just want what’s best for you and sod everyone else.
English

@thelonypone Can you tell me what's wrong with the perfectly good road on the left and why they shouldn't have stopped there to unload?
I'm waiting.
English

@xjib @thelonypone 1/2. Risk assessment. Slips trips and falls. Manual handling. Crossing two way traffic then again for cycle lane, stepping up a kerb. Distance carrying heavy goods. Blocking vehicles and other drivers view of any crossing pedestrian or cyclists.
English
@CycleCalm @xjib There are loading bays in this direction, just before the clip starts. maps.app.goo.gl/Pte5qTWKqmz5Gd… and again shortly after the clip ends. maps.app.goo.gl/bPjASC6M8qvreP…
150m between them.
English

@Andysmalls13 @vvipe0ut No we all cycled slowly and safely at walking speed. But a cretin like you wouldn't understand. Moron.
English

@francesca_kms @CycleIslington @hackney_cycling @HackneyLivingSt No one has right of way in the Highway Code.
English

@taxitradepro Does anybody in here have a scotter to sell to do the knowledge?
English

@WatchLtnWatch @SocEnvJustice Nothing to do with your health & safety. What about my mental health and working conditions. Working day now longer. Less time for a break, more miles, traffic, & stress, less actual work more time on the rd. For a few people in a rd vs lots of working ppl all day long.
English

@SocEnvJustice If you want a zebra crossing / cycle-lane / LTN by your home can I vote against it because it makes my journey slower slightly?
Why is my journey more important than your health and safety?
English

Not the style of a super salesman to mention the inconvenient fact that only people within LTNs were asked for their views.
Not the style of a super salesman to post the full review so we can read the facts for ourselves: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/65f400ad……
Will Norman@willnorman
Finally published - government's own review into Low Traffic Neighbourhoods shows that they are generally supported! Yet, despite their own research, this morning government has gone out with load of angry rhetoric against LTNs, 20mph & even bus lane cameras. Desperate stuff🤦
English

@stancbgreen @ediz1975 That’s the LTN advocate problem right there. thinking it’s the only option.
English

@ediz1975 The only solution to cleaner air, safer routes and traffic congestion, which communities want, is fewer cars/lorries and more walking/cycling, allowing buses to move. Small delivery/trade vans are exempt. All deliveries before 7:00 am. Requiring modified lifestyles.
English

@bbrayshay @JohnJohnStewart There are hundreds of other ideas other then LTN’s. But they are either harder to implement, don’t make money or cost too much. Also advocates don’t won’t to listen. There are so many problems with LTN’s but if they don’t affect you, you’re naive to believe they work.
English

A desperate editorial from an increasingly desperate paper. Two days after being exposed for using 'selective' facts about LTNs, it does so again.

@Fat_Jacques @ediz1975 If only that was true and that simple. Those of us who use a commercial vehicle for trade or business have to suffer. So does anyone living on a boundary road.
English

@ediz1975 People will eventually stop using their cars and the buses will flow more easily than ever. Car drivers ned to experience this a bit longer until they understand it’s better to leave the car at home.
