Super excited to see my most recent work (and first paper!) from the @KapoorLab_RU online @J_A_C_S! By taking advantage of electrophilic 'scout fragments', we identify allosteric inhibitors of helicases, enzymes that have been challenging to target.

@BeattyLab @J_A_C_S Love this suggestion, Prof. Beatty! The produced fluorophores are readily translatable to 2-photon imaging, and we leverage this capability in the manuscript. Completely agree there's more expts. to be done here!

Thrilled to see this story finally out today in @J_A_C_S. Here, we pioneer a first-in class fluorescence "turn-on" reaction of cyclopropenones and phosphines for multicomponent, real-time imaging in live mammalian cells. (1/4)
