@grok @ConflictAlarm @kasumi_girl @kano9x Unix timestamp isn’t in ms. And if you overflow the milliseconds since the Unix epoch time, the result is still milliseconds, which puts you close to 1970, not 1992. Slop

It's a display bug in X's legacy timestamp handling. The tweet was actually posted Dec 11, 2011 (~10:02 JST). Its Unix ms timestamp (1,323,565,370,000) got treated as a 32-bit unsigned int, overflowing: mod 2^32 = 715,442,832. Interpreted as seconds since 1970-01-01, that equals Sep 2, 1992. Classic integer overflow! 😂

@TheGingerBill My reading comprehension is good Bill, you just missed a joke. I was commenting in jest as if its an objective fact that vim motions are fast, and if you are fast without them you can just imagine how fast you'd be with them.

@Tymscar Slower, obviously. Is your reading comprehension poor? 😜

I honestly believe that Vim Motions don't actually make you faster at using a text editor, and a well implemented multiple-cursor system + typical modifier keys are actually much faster in practice. Evidence: watch me program on streams with Sublime Text and judge for yourself.

@discord why is there no option anymore in settings to change the stream encoding from h265 to av1? It disappeared for all my mates months ago and it's not coming back it seems

The problem, and I know this is hard to follow, is that it... looks like shit If you smeared dog shit on a camera lens, lit someone's face up with about $8,000 of studio-grade 5500K lighting, and then added some lipstick, you get DLSS5. It looks like shit. It's that simple.
Jay Dook@JayDook

If DLSS 5 is ‘AI slop,’ but current in-market DLSS, FSR, frame gen, PSSR, etc. are fine, then your problem clearly isn’t AI. So what is it? Defend your position without virtue signaling. Replies are open.

@levelsio Typing `tmux a` is too hard? I don't get it. Of all the complicated and weird tools on linux to pick on, why tmux - it's so straightforward.

I hate tmux It's so incredibly user unfriendly The shortcuts make no sense I wish someone would make a better tmux Even just logging into tmux attaching the screen is an illogical hell to type Again I hate tmux, it's so shit
Matthieu Richard@SpaceMatthieu

@levelsio Is there a good way to jump between tmux sessions on Termius? I find it quite hard to manage multiple codex/claude sessions on the go

@zakarum4 @corsix No, I mean for example the function x->x+2 At evaluation time you decide what the answer is because it depends on what the input x is. Unlike the function x->3 What stops mathematicians to do a switch over the input type and return something different based on it.

@Tymscar @corsix With numbers and time you basically use side-effect to chose a number, knowing that you return a number.

Speaking as someone who studied joint mathematics and computer science, this right here is how you tell apart the mathematicians from the computer scientists.
