We are delighted to share that @GlennStennes has been awarded the British Empire Medal for his outstanding voluntary work preserving the 🇬🇧’s First World War heritage in Dojran. As President and a founding member of the Macedonian Front Society, and through his wider roles in international heritage organisations, he has transformed forgotten battlefield sites into meaningful places of remembrance, education, and dialogue, and has played a vital part in honouring shared history and strengthening people-to-people ties. In Dojran this week, we also visited the British 22nd Division memorial, which marks part of the Salonika Campaign, which at its peak included around 228,000 members of the British Armed Forces.

Great meeting @TimcoMucunski to discuss next steps for the UK-North Macedonia Government-to-Government agreement signed earlier this year, that will ease the delivery of critical infrastructure projects, strengthen bilateral trade & drive economic growth for both our nations.

Through a new Strategic Partnership, we're strengthening cooperation with North Macedonia to boost investment opportunities, tackle irregular migration and reinforce shared security. Good to see @TimcoMucunski today - I look forward to hosting him again at the Berlin Process.

🇲🇰🇬🇧 Today I met with members of the UK Parliamentary Group for cooperation between our two countries. 🔹 We discussed strengthening bilateral relations and deepening parliamentary cooperation 🔹 Emphasized the role of both parliaments in advancing our political dialogue 🔹 Expressed gratitude for the continued support and commitment to our partnership 🔹 Exchanged views on common security challenges and the role of both countries in providing stability in our region

🇲🇰🤝🇬🇧 Signed a Strategic Partnership Declaration with the United Kingdom. Today at the UK Foreign Office, I had a meeting with the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, @DavidLammy. A meeting of historic significance that opens a new chapter in our bilateral relations, marked by the signing of the Strategic Partnership Declaration. This document will strengthen and enhance strategic ties between our two countries, including cooperation in foreign policy, security, and defence, particularly within the NATO framework. We also discussed the recent “government-to-government” agreement, which will boost trade, stimulate economic growth, and enable the implementation of a series of infrastructure projects. Our talks also covered NATO alliance cooperation and joint engagement within multilateral organisations.
