@Hon_Kasukuwere What about the scores that didn't survive your orgy of violence, cutting their hands off. You are a cruel man, worse than your tormentors

15 November 2017! 7 years ago we survived the most horrendous attack on my family at home. Thank you Lord for sparing the families. We shall forgive but won’t forget.

@Hon_Kasukuwere I wish you had this kind of mindset when you were in power. Do you remember short sleeve or long sleeve? You are worse than ED, it's only that you lost the power. Jail is waiting for you!

This behaviour has to stop. You can’t be messing with Zimbabweans at home, some in exile and at the same time destroying Zimbabwe’s relations within the neighbouring countries. We should draw the line in the sand. No one man can be allowed to behave carelessly like this.

The most encouraging attribute out of the recent appointment of the new Reserve Bank Governor Dr John Mushayavanhu is his quiet & calculating disposition . He is a reserved character, and second guessed most of the time. In his brief stint as Treasurer for Zanu PF Masvingo Province he never uttered a word, after three meetings he concluded he had made the wrong decision to accept the co-option and quit quietly to pursue his Banking career . I would like to give him a chance starting from tomorrow and I am sure he won't rush to say if I don't get it right in six months , fire me like both his predecessor & current Minister of Finance and then stay for years after failing. "Kugona basa kuriita " Opening up gold reserves to a Nation is a good starting point in accountability, the Nation needs to know what he has inherited in gold reserves and hard currency as the first confidence measure . Its not a secret in other performing economies including tabling of RBZ financials . With that the Nation will cooperate and I will be a Marshall of support for his Monetary Policy. Whatever the purpose of the visit by the President to RBZ was and I assume it was to witness a handover takeover between the two Johns, it was good optics ahead of tomorrow @ReserveBankZIM @edmnangagwa @nickmangwana @MthuliNcube

@nickmangwana They should be Zanu PF supporters as well. They will never recruit you unless you are one of them. Remember they are training you to kill, an art they have perfected on opposition activists since 1980.

JOB SIKHALA DESERVES A BETTER RECEPTION With respect, it has to be said that the way the first responders that included lawyers, journalists and others who received Hon Job Sikhala upon his Tuesday night release from Chikurubi Maximum Prison after he spent nearly two years of pre-trial jail without bail, was most unfortunate, as they disappointingly failed to “do no further harm” to him under the “presumption of trauma” that typically afflicts persons in his situation; particularly given the 595 traumatic days he endured under what was unconstitutional incarceration, since bail is a constitutional entitlement. According to specialised literature on the condition, trauma is the emotional response to an extraordinary experience by a person who undergoes a threatening event or who lives for an extended time under repeated threats to his or her emotional or physical well-being that fundamentally upsets his or her personal sense of security. Trauma manifests as prolonged negative mental, emotional or physical condition that the traumatised individual is unable to deal with, without professional help, such that the victim gets trapped by the condition regardless of whether the event or experience that triggered the trauma has ended. It is trite that Sikhala’s 595-days of pre-trial jail without bail was indescribably traumatic. And it is also trite that the prolonged trauma that Sikhala experienced did not suddenly disappear on account of his release on Tuesday night, with everything returning to normal settings that existed before Sikhala’s arrest in June 2022. No human being comes out of the kind of experience that Sikhala endured ok, in any way, shape or form. No one. It is thus totally wrong and uncivilised to treat a person in that situation as if they are ok or should be ok. They never are. Therefore, and to put it mildly, it was shocking to see on Tuesday night self-indulgent video clips across the social media of lawyers, journalists and heavens knows who else literally having a field day at Sikhala’s expense in some dingy street with poor lighting; with some lawyers taking and posting selfies with Sikhala, journalists interviewing him about CCC infighting and everything else topical under the sun; and posting the interviews as “breaking news”. It was one thing for people to take the selfies or the very cellular-phone video clips, perhaps for posterity or the archives, but quite another thing to post them to litter the Internet. Inexplicably, and unprofessionally, a crude competition for selfies and scoops with Sikhala took over the night on Tuesday. Meanwhile Sikhala did not look or sound well at all, obviously because he had just come out of harsh conditions of “solitary confinement” after 595-days in jail without bail; and he had just gotten back his precious freedom, but he had clearly not yet processed its meaning on the back of his traumatic experience; and he had not yet gotten back to the privacy of his home and family. To make this bad situation worse, the very same first responders who competed for Sikhala’s attention in the poorly lit street, and who immediately posted their video exploits with proprietary claims, made a convoy and followed Sikhala to invade his home for more selfies and scoops, which included clips of Sikhala watching Arsenal’s game against Nottingham Forest. The invasion of Sikhala’s privacy at his home was an ugly and unbecoming spectacle, with untold harm to his wellbeing and long-term interests. Unsurprisingly, some of the things that Sikhala was recorded saying and the manner, style or speech in which he said some of them has become controversial headline news or, worse, some of it has unfairly if not wrongfully left Sikhala a butt of unkind and even cruel jokes. Some outcomes of the spectacle that has been witnessed will need to be remedied, one way or another. It is important, and necessary for Sikhala’s traumatic experience to be dealt with by the relevant professionals, and for those professionals to be the ones who advise on the needful. In the meantime, Sikhala deserves far better treatment that has been the case and, going forward, he should be accorded that treatment!

@nickmangwana Kkkk parading the president's farm is simply exposing the level of looting in the government. He uses state coffers to buy Plant, Inputs and to pay employees, that is if he pays them at all. Did he finish paying for the 20 boreholes drilled by a man from Masvingo? Tinyareivo

I urge all women in Zimbabwe to consider pursuing farming as a way to improve their lives and the country as a whole. While politicians like Chamisa may promise change, we should not rely on them alone to improve our lives. By taking control of our own future through farming.
