@UNOPS 🇪🇹 has signed an agreement with @MoF_Ethiopia to procure 14 ambulances for selected project woredas in the Tigray Region, under the #3R4CACE Project financed by the @WorldBank.

It’s been #3YearsTooLong. A brutal civil war that’s left communities across #Sudan utterly devastated.   Civilians are still being killed. The healthcare system has largely collapsed. Extreme poverty is rapidly increasing. And we’re witnessing the world's largest displacement and hunger crisis, with +24 million people facing acute food insecurity. Enough. Let’s not allow this to be an abandoned crisis. The international community must urgently step up support – to help find the solutions needed to end this conflict, protect civilians, and avert a further humanitarian catastrophe. @UN_Sudan

Since opening in Nov 2025, the center has become a regional lifeline, treating 15-20 patients daily and performing 210+ catheterization surgeries with a 0% on-table mortality rate, serving patients from across Sudan, Chad, and Eritrea. ❤️🩹@UNOPS, @japan

With generous funding from the Government of🇯🇵 , @UNOPS delivered the first EDAN Acclarix LX85 Ultrasound System in 🇸🇩to the Altahir Ailla Cardiac Surgery Center in Port Sudan.

Great news from #SouthOmo! 🎉 With the support of 🇮🇹 @AICSAddisAbeba and @UNOPS 🇪🇹 inaugurated the constructed Aeriya Keyissa Primary School and Dimeka Health Center. This means over 25,000 people now have better access to healthcare & education. Proud of this partnership!
