@CLittle92 @Jamoss29 The cheapest corolla is like $24.5k. My 16 camry se was $21.5k new and I bought it from the dealer who set a record selling camrys. The only reason I got that price is because they sold like 10k through agreement with uber and had a few left over

@nafareall @reggiefilms I wouldn't pay out of pocket for any battery swap right now, especially 3rd party. Almost every ev on the market is a throw away car.
Like I said, overpriced and this isnt even the best deal ive seen on a dealer lot

People always love to ask, "What are you going to do when the battery goes on your Tesla?" This 2019 Model 3 RWD owned by @Drive_Protected still had the ORIGINAL battery and rear motor after 381,000 miles (613,000 km). Even after all those miles, the battery retained 70% capacity. He decided to bring new life to the car by swapping the original NCA pack for a modern LFP pack from a newer Model 3. The original pack was still perfectly functional, the swap was just for performance. Swapping a battery in a Tesla is much quicker than people think. In just a few hours, the orginal battery was removed then replaced with a LFP pack. Once configured via the computer, the car is perfectly functional. There’s no huge mess, not a lot of wires, it’s actually very simple once you are experienced with it. His Model 3 now functions and charges like a newer car. Tesla vehicles are designed from the ground up to be very serviceable.

@nafareall @reggiefilms Too much and I definitely wouldnt buy a tesla i knew spent it's life on a supercharger. My current car m3 has 185k miles and I definitely wouldn't buy it today for $12k

@Hertz Support just told me again on the phone to contact the branch which has been telling me to contact corporate. They did not transfer me to a manager.

@Hertz the rental ended on 4/8. The hold has been there for over 6 weeks. The branch, customer support, social media support and customer relations cant see the charge. The pending charges update every 48 hrs so my bank will never release it.

@itskyleconner If it's that easy to make people ill from pedal control, that's bad implementation and software calibration by the OEM. Making a smooth pedal is not difficult. But most need a bigger dead zone between throttle and regen.

Riding in a Lyriq and the driver has a charger at home but his company won’t let him use it?
He had to wake up 1hr early to charge his car at a Supercharger 🤔
Also - we need extra mandatory driver training for any professional driver to use an EV. Pedal control competency is a requirement (I write this on the edge of puking)
