@MichaelCyger Today, the auto migration process to Afternic begins, and some customers with zero domains in their Dan account received a successful migration email in error. Rest assured, if your Dan portfolio shows 0 domains or if you opted out of the migration, nothing will be moved over.

I'm pretty sure my Dan account had zero domains in it, so I really hope that GoDaddy's automated systems didn't mess up my Afternic account. Why would I be worried? Why would they send me this email if I had zero domains in my Dan account?

DAN emailed customers to notify them their listings have been automatically migrated to @afternic. I had proactively deleted all Dan listings, so nothing should have migrated. I am going to confirm with my AM that nothing was changed in my account. domaininvesting.com/dan-com-listin…

@okpala_II Once the migration period ends, if you’ve opted out of migrating to Afternic, your domain listings will be removed from Dan.com.

@mwzd They support most extensions we do, but not all. We recommend checking out help.afternic.com/s/article/What… for Afternic extensions and godaddy.com/domains/gtld-d… for GoDaddy-eligible extensions. If your extensions aren’t supported, let us know, and we’ll pass the info along to Afternic.

@Undeveloped There are quite a few ccTLDs that GoDaddy shows as 'unavailable' in the reg path even though they're listed on Afternic, what happens to those when Dan is shutdown? x.com/mwzd/status/18…

@Aladey Long-term, we recommend moving over to Afternic's nameservers.

@TopShelfNames Due to GDPR guidelines, you won’t be able to export these. However, once we launch the Migration Center, you'll be able to export your transactional information, invoices, listings, and more.

@Undeveloped What about migrating lead data (lead name, contact info, offer history, chat history, etc) for names that were negotiated but did not result in sale?

@domainretail Your active LTO deals will be transitioned over to Afternic from November. We recommend heading to afternic.com/account/paymen… to set up your payout profile to ensure that payouts aren’t missed. If you opt out of migrating, your LTO transactions will continue to be paid out by Dan.

@Undeveloped What happens to existing LTO deals? Are Dan team going to be working on Afternic platform to improve it? Afternic is still missing features that Dan has, are they on the roadmap?
