@QuantumOverlord @United99Podcast @LagboatUK1 Well it would have done considering it had been around for decades. Restore Britain has been a party for THREE/FOUR months. I don’t think you’re quite comprehending that. Also, the UK is far more open to “far right” beliefs now than it was back then.

Restore threw the kitchen sink at this by-election, huge ground game and only managed to translate that into 3,000 votes. They couldn't even break 10%. There's not enough space on the right for 2 parties. We'll end up with another Labour government.

@MisterSpizzy @balls_philip @LagboatUK1 4 opinion polls in 2 years have said 34%, the current average is between 24-27%. This is because it’s nothing new for Farage, he’s actually won national polls (2014 and 2019 European elections) and took 4 million votes in 2024 and back in 2015. People turn out for him.

@balls_philip @LagboatUK1 It’s mental that you’re still predicting 40% wins when you’ve only taken 4K votes in Makerfield. Proper one trick ponies. Please give me the game plan for how Restore is going to win the next General Election from this point, I genuinely want to hear it.

@United99Podcast @LagboatUK1 One MAJOR thing you’re forgetting is that RB has been a political party for 3 months. By 2029, 3 years. 7% in 3 months could easily equate to 30/40% in 3 years. Reform UK first by election result was 1.3% of the vote. That was “accomplished” more than a year after forming.

@balls_philip @LagboatUK1 Because you were closer to Count Binface than Reform, if this result is indicative of a GE then all you’re going to do is make it impossible for a Right wing party to win in marginal seats. Thanks for keeping Burnham in power until 2035.

All eyes now on the Makerfield result. If Restore polls over 5% that would be a first in British political history. If it polls over 10% that would be seismic. There can be no bleating from Reform. Restore’s existence is Reform’s fault.

This couldn’t be further from the truth, world class is top 3 in your position: Harry Kane is a top 3 CF Declan Rice is a top 3 CM Jude Bellingham is a top 3 #10 Reece James is a top 3 RB Bukayo Saka is a top 3 RW At the very least, there’s 5 world class players with players like Marcus Rashford, Elliot Anderson and Nico O’Reilly all on the fringes.

@kylekirms You make a good point, but a lot of the time substitutions are used for the sole purpose of slowing the game down and breaking the momentum of the other team. Unlimited substitutions are just going to have the opposite effect of what you’re after.

I know this is a stupid American take... but every time I watch soccer, I cannot figure out the limited substitutions rule. Look how tired these players are. Just let them substitute. Think of how slow basketball would be if the same players had to play 48 minutes straight.

@mick_g_w @jeffhunt You’re right some of these games are going to suck, the problem with bigger international tournaments is that you get an influx of weaker teams that just suck to watch. There’s also the 3rd place teams that are going to sit back and defend in every game so they go through.

@jeffhunt oh it's so god dam boring, some of the close in dribbling passing and goal scoring can be entertaining but 90% of the game is people just punting the ball down the other side of the field It's like watching people jogging as an entertainment sport

@FPLfrasier Rashford is such a conundrum, he can go and score goals and get assists whilst regularly being the worst player on the pitch. There is simply no intelligence to his game and that’s not something he is going to learn at this stage. He doesn’t deserve to come back to United either

I don’t mind Rashford coming back to United. We needed clarity. Barcelona are the worst club to do business with. They have no clue what they are doing. Mortgaged their future revenue, referee bribery case ongoing, no money to finish the stadium work, and yet somehow they had 80m for Anthony Gordon! Rashford needs to have clarity as well. He needs to realize Barcelona never rated him properly. Isn’t he a bit embarrassed by how Barcelona treated him? Did he get the energy back in his game? Can he play for United with a renewed vibe? He knows more than anyone his relationship with the part of the fanbase is broken, but many fans still love him. But if he plays well and applies himself on/off the pitch well, fans will begin to love him again.

🚨 BREAKING: Barcelona will NOT pay €30m buy option clause for Marcus Rashford, expiring in 5 days. Rashford formally set to return to Man United but Barça remain open to new solutions, like another loan deal. ❗️ Barça are open to discuss again if #MUFC open doors. 🔵🔴

@donmcgowan Clarkson does not support reform. He’s always been a big advocate of the Conservative party. He was big mates with Boris and Cameron back in the day, he was hanging out with Badenoch not long ago. You’re just dishonest

@MarioNawfal @RupertLowe10 The USA has the death penalty, it’s hugely expensive with death row inmates spending up to 15-20, quite often leads to innocent people being executed, and just fails as a deterrent. Case closed.

@mufcytp He was the guy that they appointed. If the board were never going to back him, his system or his choices then why on earth did they appoint Amorim knowing he played with 3 at the back? INEOS and the Glazers need puppets as manager, that's why they've now given the job to Carrick

🌑 REVEALED: Internally, there was bafflement when Amorim reverted to a 3-4-2-1 for the visit of Wolves. Going defensive against the worst team in the Premier League was viewed as an odd decision, and United stumbled to a 1-1 draw. When Wilcox and Amorim met for a debrief the following Friday morning, the head coach reportedly exploded. [@TyMarshall_MEN] This “genius” also nearly ended up selling a £100m talent in Kobbie.
