In any real nation, a Nationalist party would be crowing about having a world champion while ignoring foreign cultural traditions. But this is Scotland under the SNP and their faux nationalism, so we don't promote our own success. Unless it's about finishing second bottom in the world at something and having England behind us. The SNP are not fit for purpose. We have a world champion runner and kids who need a positive role model and they can't even be arsed to tie the two together. Weak leadership from a weak party. A group of aggressive Jewish men intimidate a Muslim Al Jazeera journalist who was there to report on the Golders Green ambulance incident. They shout “Al Jazeera off our streets,” “Go home,” and “terrorist.” Their behaviour is a disgrace. If a group of Muslim men behaved like this towards a Jewish journalist, the reaction on social media would be different. Islamophobia is unacceptable.
