Pinehurst #3 What a fucking track man. The shortest course I’ve ever played but yet somehow one of the hardest. You have 5 yards to hit every shot into the green and if you don’t you’re off. Weather was shitty but what a place to be. Ideal retirement spot.

A new (and yet so familiar) addition to the iconic closing hole at Pebble Beach Golf Links. A second cypress tree has been planted, restoring the hole to it's original design intent and reinstating the signature look golf fans had come to know until the original was lost in a 2014 storm. 30 yards nearer the green than the other, the tree sits in the exact location of its predecessor and was transported down the road from Spyglass Hill's 17th hole.

The good people of golf (that one guy is going to be mad) Last year I wrote a story with an update on Dayton Price, who survived an accident on 2022 that killed his college coach and six of his teammates. Price suffered severe burns on 44% of his body and has faced countless surgeries since. Yet against all odds has become a very good college player and has realistic dreams of playing pro golf. After I wrote the story the Kia Ecuador Open on the Americas Tour offered him an exemption. This week they followed thru. And the story gets better. A PGA Tour winner reached out and offered to pay for his hotel for the week. Hell yes.
