If you state, tell, recommend, even imply that ur supporters should vote for somebody someone: that is an endorsement. The DSA voter guide “recommending” a candidate *is an endorsement*, there’s really no need for this type of condescending pedantry that avoids the reality here.

Prior to ‘comrade’ being adopted by the second international people in the movement referred to each other as ‘citizen’. It’s funny to want to reproduce Browder’s ‘retreat from class’. That whole shtick was already tried in the 90s and produced nothing but disorientation

@GoodVibePolitik Funnily Earl Browder encouraged people in the CPUSA to use brother/sister instead of comrade during his tenure as the chairman. This was also the period of highest membership of growth in the party, maybe that tells us something 🤔
