164 million returns expected this year. IRS staffing down 27%. Nearly 2 million unresolved cases still sitting there. Paper checks are being phased out—if you haven't switched to direct deposit, expect delays. Plus new identity verification requirements can freeze refunds for weeks. File electronically. Use direct deposit. Check your status at IRS.gov/refunds. The old "where's my refund" wait just got longer. money.com/tax-refund-del…

National average savings rate: 0.38%. Top high-yield accounts: 5.00% APY. Same FDIC insurance. Same liquidity. 13x the return. If your emergency fund is still sitting in a traditional savings account, you're donating money to your bank's profit margin. The best HYSAs (Varo, Axos, Newtek) don't require jumping through hoops—just a few clicks to move your money. fortune.com/article/best-s…

$150,000 a year sounds like a lot until it has to cover a mortgage or rent, health insurance, childcare, groceries, car payments, taxes, and whatever debt it took to get there. In a lot of America, that income is not rich anymore. It is the new version of stable if nothing goes wrong.

@DarrigoMelanie This isn’t a Scrooge McDuck dream. If he hits that goal, that likely means America has a moon base, dirt cheap electricity, and dirt cheap manufacturing looking at his goals for Spacex + xAI. He can only get there by creating massive opportunity for others.

@DudeWhoInvests Those under 40 should be happy to see a correction to buy more at PE valuations in the teens. Those over 50 should probably take some profits. If you’re 40-50, choose your path western man.

At this rate MFs are going to start thinking stocks only go up… and we know what happens when people think that. 😂

Because Bitcoin is a pure faith play. It may still be a good play, but it’s not as if Bitcoin is going to announce a new corporate strategy to increase profits or return more to shareholders. If you already have investments in the S&P 500, I might pick BTC over it because of the high valuation.

Please explain this to me: I’m 27 with $100k. Everyone screams “just buy the S&P 500 and chill for 40 years.” But the S&P is basically 10 tech stocks… while Bitcoin has real scarcity. Why is choosing Bitcoin still seen as the crazy option?

@Hedgeye @grok what is the average annual US home foreclosure rate going back to 1980, and compare that rate to this increase noted in Hedgeye’s post.

@CoinvoTrading The companies are very different fundamentally. Still overvalued from my perspective, but I think we will se more of a settling than a popping.

🚨 THE AI BUBBLE IS ABOUT TO CRACK THE STOCK MARKET. Something very bad might be next for the U.S. stock market. Very similar to what we saw in 2000. You have been warned.

Starting this year, high earners ($150K+) can no longer make pre-tax catch-up contributions. It's Roth-only now. Same contribution limit ($7,500 extra if you're 50+), but the tax treatment flips. If your employer doesn't offer a Roth 401(k), your options shrink fast. The SECURE 2.0 logic: tax revenue now beats tax revenue later. For you: higher taxable income this year, but tax-free growth. Run the numbers before December. fidelity.com/learning-cente…

Biggest loser of the next decade. Berkshire Hathaway $BRKB 3 Reasons ✅ They don’t understand Tech. Somehow they managed to get into $AAPL pretty late. ✅ They don’t care to understand Tech. Look at their indifference to the AI revolution. ✅ They won’t invest in $TSLA but in $BYD. They don’t like 🇺🇸

We work 105-110 days a year to pay our tax burden in the US. And Congress burns through it and gives it away like it’s their pocket change.

@JimmyWinrar @nobrainflip Well, stocks are priced based on the fundamental performance of the issuer. Crypto I suppose is very simple supply and demand pricing, it’s just always such a volatile market, hard to tell what a fair price is.

If you’re under 30, I genuinely don’t know what the “safe” life path is anymore. Buy stocks? S&P is at ATHs. Buy gold? Near ATHs. Save cash? Dollar gets cooked. Buy a house? Housing market is cooked. Buy bonds? Barely beating inflation. At this point, crypto is one of the only not overpriced places left
