Well we had our concrete poured this past week, to say I’m not happy with it would be an understatement. We took a chance on someone who was starting their own business and unfortunately it bit us in the butt.
Some positive take aways (trying to look at it optimistically) we now have a hard surface In front of our house to keep the mud and dirt at bay. The store has a solid surface with a drain that is usable.
I politely gave my opinion of the situation and canceled him for the rest of the creamery concrete.
Can’t get hung up on the little things, just need to learn and carry on. Here’s to finishing the rest of the creamery 🥂

The frustration should be directed towards the bureaucracy and bought out politicians. Most of my stress was with the delay by bondi. Lawsuit was denied for medical s3 and the hearing is starting in about a month. Most importantly Bessent should give us some Financial guidance soon. Everyone should be pretty stoked IMO.

Using real $'s you would've turned 100k into $18740 vs $222650 via the S&P for an opportunity cost of $203,910
This creates understandable stress

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold."
So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house?
I didn't sell it.
I didn't cash out.
I didn't make a profit.
But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year.
Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

1. She says she still supports the creation of a retail marijuana market.
2. Spanberger says starting retail sales on January 1 created a "rushed timeframe."
3. The number of retail stores in the bills (350) was a concern for her.
