My prediction is Bournemouth will be in a relegation battle in two years
Ben Jacobs@JacobsBen

More on Marco Rose and Bournemouth. Talks are advanced between the former Leipzig and Dortmund boss and Bournemouth. Parties close to an agreement on terms. Rose is the frontrunner, as revealed with @alex_crook yesterday. Kieran McKenna is also appreciated but viewed as expensive due to his release clause and wage. Whereas Rose is prepared to commit in April, McKenna is focused on Ipswich’s promotion push. Despite links with Frank Lampard, Bournemouth have not made an approach, and the Coventry manager is not looking to leave.🍒

The pressure on Tottenham's players is absolutely monumental – I don't see them handling it. Senesi and Alex Scott both practically signed, depending on league status...it goes further than just this season. Teams will play them knowing they are sh*tting themselves.
David Ornstein@David_Ornstein

🚨 Tottenham Hotspur in advanced talks to sign Marcos Senesi as free agent this summer subject to retaining PL status. Nothing finalised so still open + interest in 28yo #AFCB centre-back from elsewhere but #THFC leading contender at present @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/69286…

@GP1867 @Iain_Taylor8 No, pure delusion. We aren’t big at all but we have quite a lot of global fans. No one knows who Ipswich are bro. This ain’t the 1970s

Seen loads on this! We are absolutely a bigger club than Bournemouth and that’s no disrespect to them. But right now, Bournemouth are a stable, well-run Premier League club with ambitious owners and are 100% more attractive than we are & more-so if we don’t go up! #itfc #afcb

🚜 Brazil: "Bournemouth are not bigger than Ipswich! What have Bournemouth won!?" 😬 McCoist: "Ooooo... we've touched a nerve!" Alan Brazil was fuming with the suggestion that #AFCB are a bigger club than #ITFC as Kieran McKenna is linked with the Cherries job! 👀

@InaHussein91 @talkSPORT That's a factor amongst other things, but yes, Norwich City are also a much bigger Club than Bournemouth and Brentford and Burnley and Brighton. The Premier League is full of tin pot Football Clubs these days.

I've been militantly Howe Out since the derby was the final straw for me. But if it's between Eddie Howe or Mourinho i'd be offering Eddie an extension. This would be the destructive move that starts us off becoming a new manager every 5 minutes team.

Speaking with @mark__heath in Ipswich, it would take a some convincing that #afcb was a project for McKenna to draw him away. He also has a lot of power at Ipswich, something Iraola didn't necessarily have in terms of transfers etc. But not out of the question!

If an opponent did this to us, I am pretty sure it would save our season. It would wake a sleeping lion. I am afraid of the same effect for Arsenal. I am afraid this might save their season. Hope I am wrong though

Emma H 🖤🗿七七@Emma_h_mua

@RazerWithAKnee Good for you. You clearly had some money to do that and houses were max 3x the annual salary. Now they're 9x the annual salary and most people are paying well over half their monthly pay on rent. You had it better. End of story.

@ZachLowy How can you comment on weather he got upgraded on then if you don’t care about what he did for Bournemouth? You’ve no scope for comparison to Evanilson (who’s performed worse for Bournemouth than Solanke did!)

Dominic Solanke is the biggest proof that signing “Premier League-proven players” isn’t a guarantee of success. £65m for a player who isn’t better than Richarlison. Meanwhile, Bournemouth get top dollar from him and upgrade in attack with Evanilson. That’s how you do business.

@PremLeaguePanel recruitment over the past season has been following a financial model but last summer has shown what to expect going forward, we have an encouraging squad right now as well.

The jostle between Brentford, Bournemouth & Brighton has been fascinating to watch over the last few years. All of their recruitment models are so consistent that their talent always keeps them in mid-table/around the European spots. Even if their squads get decimated (Bournemouth the latest with Zabarnyi/Huijsen) or their managers leave (De Zerbi/Frank). Sometimes they get a dip whilst their young talents adapt, but then they always regenerate themselves in the end.
