When we first moved to Virginia 10 years ago, a lot of people warned me about how we'd be treated if we lived 'south of the river.' At the time, I didn't get it (and you know me, I didn't really care), but with this redistricting bit, I'm finally seeing it.
There is absolutely a divide in Virginia.
There is the heart and soul of the state, the people who have lived here for generations. And then there are the people who moved here after ruining their own states with their blue policies.
And now, those same people are trying to destroy what's left of the Commonwealth, while insisting rural Virginia is out of luck. 'LAND DOESN'T VOTE,' they declare.
They're fine with handing the Commonwealth over to politicians in D.C. like Hakeem Jeffries, because Virginia is not their home. They have no loyalty to this amazing state, where our country began.
And it shows.
So, it's up to us rednecks in rural Virginia to save her. I believe we can do it... I just need you to believe we can.

My favorite irrational and stupid new law from Governor Spanberger and Democrats is this one… it takes ALL of our Virginia electoral votes for President and gives them to whoever wins the NATIONAL popular vote.
So we lose our voice and our autonomy!
But what makes this CRAZY is that this law would’ve taken the 13 Va votes that went to Kamala Harris and would’ve given them to Donald Trump in 2024!!!! 🤦🏻

That being said, I know I'm writing a lot about Virginia, and while it may get old (I post about it a lot as well), I promise there is a reason for all of it. Sure, if they redistrict my state, it will suck BIGLY for me ... but it will suck for the country, too.
