The Energy Maharatna @OilIndiaLimited has successfully unlocked a new gas-bearing pay zone in the Dandewala Field. Had the privilege to chair the second DISHA committee of Varanasi today. Along with public representatives of the district and district officials, we reviewed the status of various development projects being undertaken in the holy city of Varanasi. With a wide range of development projects anchored in the philosophy of ‘Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi’ the holy city, which is also the Lok Sabha constituency of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji has made remarkable progress during the last decade and has emerged as a model city. Greetings to the warm & aspirational people of Sikkim on the occasion of Sikkim Day. Known as “Heaven of the East” Sikkim, with is a key destination for domestic tourism and makes a significant contribution to India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat as we travel through the Amrit Kaal under the leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji. I have very fond memories of this beautiful Himalayan state which I first visited 47 years ago with Lakshmi on our military attachment.

Today, at the 11th Brainstorming Session at IIPM, Gurugram, along with @PetroleumMin officials and leaders of our oil and gas PSUs, we discussed plans to strengthen our India’s energy future. Key deliberations included strengthening of Research and development, Innovation and startup ecosystem in Indian oil and gas space, focusing on further reforms in domestic E&P sector specially for deepwater drilling to increase offshore oil and gas exploration. Every new hydrocarbon discovery is not just energy beneath the sea - it is strength above it. We fixed the TERMS. We are revealing the ROCKS. We must discover the CUPS. India's upstream journey needs the right alignment of three essential elements. Samudra Manthan is the catalyst that brings TERMS + ROCKS + CUPS together to unlock discoveries, strengthen production and provide a momentum to India’s quest towards a self-reliant energy future under the leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji. ✅ With the historic amendments to the ORD Act in 2025, the complete overhaul of PNG Rules in 2025, the massive policy changes including regulatory relaxations like release of one million sqkm of hitherto “No Go” areas along with updated next generation Revenue sharing contracts our “TERMS” are very aligned with globally competitive geographies and are evoking the interest of major investors. ✅ Since data is very crucial for the forward journey of the energy sector, massive thrust is now being laid on “ROCKS” in the form of heavy investments. After the pre-2014 era of policy paralysis, energy PSUs have invested over half a billion dollars on seismic data acquisition on their own in the last 8 years despite financial challenges. PM @narendramodi जी की अध्यक्षता में केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने खरीफ सीजन 2026-27 के लिए 14 खरीफ फसलों पर MSP में वृद्धि करने का ऐतिहासिक निर्णय लिया है। खरीफ फसलों में सर्वाधिक MSP वृद्धि सूरजमुखी बीज पर ₹622/क्विंटल, कपास पर ₹557/क्विंटल, रामतिल पर ₹515/क्विंटल तथा तिल पर ₹500/क्विंटल की गई है। मोदी सरकार का यह निर्णय किसानों व कृषि क्षेत्र को और अधिक सशक्त, समृद्ध और आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। #CabinetDecisions

In a major boost to railway connectivity and Aatmanirbharta, the Union Cabinet under the leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji has approved Ahmedabad (Sarkhej) - Dholera Semi High-Speed Double Line project with an investment of ₹20,667 crore. It will be the 1st semi high-speed project, planned with indigenously developed technology by Indian Railway. The project is planned on PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan with focus on enhancing multi-modal connectivity & logistic efficiency through integrated planning and stakeholder consultations. As India’s first semi high-speed rail project, the project will serve as a pioneer project acting as a reference model for the phased expansion of semi high-speed rail across the country. #CabinetDecisions

देश में किसी भी पेट्रोलियम उत्पाद की कमी नहीं... भारत के पास 60 दिनों का कच्चा तेल, 60 दिनों की LNG और 45 दिनों का एलपीजी भंडार उपलब्‍ध है। पश्चिम एशिया में तनाव के बीच निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए भारत ने अपने दैनिक एलपीजी उत्पादन में अभूतपूर्व वृद्धि (35,000 टन से बढ़ाकर 54,000 टन) की है। इस दौरान कई सारे देशों में तेल के दाम व उपलब्धता को लेकर उतार-चढ़ाव आए लेकिन भारत में कोई असर नहीं पड़ा। कुछ लोगों ने कालाबाजारी की, अफवाह फैलाने की पूरी कोशिश की, पर PM @narendramodi जी के मार्गदर्शन में हमारे प्रयासों से देश में पेट्रोल, डीजल और एलपीजी की कहीं कोई कमी नई आई। #CIIAnnualBusinessSummit26 #CII4India

In a big boost for the country’s Upstream Sector, rationalization of royalty under the ORD Act marks a new era for our Oil & Gas regimes by eliminating inconsistencies and driving growth in the upstream sector under the leadership of PM Sh @narendramodi Ji. This landmark decision will be a major step toward regulatory clarity. Following the historic 2025 amendments to the ORD Act & PNG Rules, the Government has rationalized royalty rates & methodologies for Crude Oil, Natural Gas, and Casing Head Condensate. The revised Schedule removes long-standing inconsistencies across regimes to ensure a stable, predictable, and investor-aligned framework for India’s upstream sector.
