🔹The Government is making every effort to ensure that domestic consumers do not face any inconvenience. Domestic consumers have been given priority and supply of domestic LPG cylinders is being maintained accordingly 🔹Commission for Air Quality Management has permitted the temporary use of Biomass, RDF pellets in place of natural gas by industries, hotels, restaurants and other establishments across NCR including NCT of Delhi for one month 🔹Domestic production has been steadily ramped up from 10 percent initially to 25 percent, then 28 percent and now 31 percent 🔹It is also clarified that there is a minimum gap of 25 days in urban areas between the last delivery and the next LPG booking, while in rural areas the maximum permissible gap is 45 days. #WATCH | The supply and availability of LPG across India remain normal, with adequate stocks and smooth distribution even in remote and hilly regions such as Himachal Pradesh. Gas agencies continue to deliver cylinders regularly, and consumers in many areas are receiving deliveries within two to three days of booking. Officials in several districts have confirmed that stock levels are sufficient to meet daily demand, and the distribution network is functioning smoothly. Even in remote areas, LPG cylinders are being transported from bulk supply trucks to local distribution points and delivered to households without disruption. State governments and local administrations have reiterated that there is no shortage of LPG, petrol or diesel, and the situation is being closely monitored. Authorities have also advised citizens not to believe rumours circulating on social media or engage in panic buying, assuring that energy supplies across the country remain stable and well managed. @PetroleumMin #LPGGas

Deeply anguished by the tragic loss of two officers of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in the unfortunate incident at the CBG Plant in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh. This brutal act of violence deserves the strongest condemnation. The nation has lost two committed professionals who served with dedication and courage. My heartfelt condolences to the families of Shri Sudhir Gupta and Shri Harshit Mishra. Their service and commitment will always be remembered. We stand firmly with their families and the entire HPCL fraternity in this moment of grief. I have directed the concerned officials and requested the State Government of UP to ensure swift and strict action against those responsible. Despite the current geopolitical situation involving major energy producers, our energy imports are secure and continue to flow from different sources using non-Hormuz routes. We are comfortably placed and are able to meet the energy requirements of our citizens. There is no shortage of petrol, diesel, kerosene, ATF or fuel oil. The availability of petrol, diesel, aviation turbine fuel, kerosene, and fuel oil is fully assured. Retail outlets across the country are stocked and supply chains for these products are functioning normally. Domestic piped gas to homes and CNG for vehicles receive 100% supply with no cuts. Modi Govt’s foremost priority is that the kitchens of India’s 33+ crore families, especially the poor and the underprivileged, do not face any shortage. Domestic supply is fully protected and the delivery cycle is unchanged. In a major decision, 20% of the average monthly Commercial LPG requirement will be allocated from today to restaurants and eateries by OMCs, in coordination with the State Governments so that there is no hoarding or black marketing. This is not the moment for rumour-mongering or fake narratives. India is navigating the most severe global energy disruption in recorded history. Crude supply is flowing. Gas is prioritised for homes and farms. LPG production has been stepped up by 28%. Like we have done in the past, now is the time for the nation to come together and overcome this challenge.
