incredible how much capital @solana dat's siphoned from onchain protocols
they've invested very little onchain, starving the crypto protocols that feed them
rightfully, they've performed like crap, offering less value than holding $sol with more risk + complexity

the team is still small with just 3 core members (and the growth team helping as well).
moving forward, we are going to experiment with a few new markets that i think it can be interesting for our users.
no reasons that prediction market cannot be huge on solana.

@doit4dalore HL’s maker rebate framework also incentivizes centralized liquidity suppliers.
You must do major volume to even qualify for rebates, meaning the large players get rebates and can quote even tighter.
This makes smaller/niche players uncompetitive and must leave.

HOT TAKE:
Hyperliquid’s vertically integrated system is its greatest strength, and it is a big reason why it has superior liquidity today.
BUT it may also be its greatest weakness.
Why?
Because it shows that deployment may be permissionless, but liquidity is not.
If one venue has the dominant OI, market makers, and user flow, then any competing book gets killed on contact. That starts to look a lot more like TradFi consolidation than true open competition.
Over time, this could lead to less competition inside the ecosystem, which may ultimately produce worse outcomes for users.
Whereas if you look at Solana, it has the opposite problem.
It is permissionless, but lacks liquidity and suffers from fragmentation, yet the competition is heating up:

All of these venues offer different pros and cons for the end user.
Different liquidity.
Different fee models.
Different incentives.
Different collateral and risk systems.
This ultimately creates the need for what @ImperialPerps is building:
One unified execution layer that routes traders to the BEST venue to place their orders.
In the end, this abstracts complexity away from traders while still fostering intense competition on the backend.
Hyperliquid proves traders want simplicity.
Solana preserves competition.
Imperial is how you get both. 👑

its crazy to me that you can onramp into crypto for ~free, then use stablecoins to DCA into stocks, and then borrow against those stocks, 24/7 globally.
its easy to overlook just how far DeFi has come in the past few years, and hard to imagine how big we get from here.

robots running ai models need to pay for compute thousands of times per hour but every payment currently needs a human to sign off. @AuxinAutomata is an sdk that gives physical robots their own solana wallet to handle that autonomously.
large onchain orders are fully visible on solana, making them easy targets for mev. @opsonchain is a vwap execution layer that breaks up large orders and buybacks so protocols stop losing capital to front-running
@anon0mesh lets you send solana transactions and messages peer-to-peer over bluetooth and lora radio with no internet connection,
using @arcium mpc for confidential settlement
@dumdotfun is where every token launch comes with a built-in prediction market on creator behaviour. bet on whether the dev rugs, the creator can't bet their own market, and exposure is hidden via arcium mpc so the odds stay honest
prediction market positions on kalshi, polymarket and sportsbooks are all locked in separate systems. @faro_markets tokenises those positions as spl tokens so you manage exposure across every venue from a single wallet, with local currency deposits and a simplified mobile ui
when you accept crypto subscriptions every customer's wallet history is exposed on-chain. @Protocol01_ is a private recurring payments layer where merchants get paid in sol or usdc while customer history stays completely opaque.
