But the biggest question is — if they themselves are openly claiming they paid dowry amounts, then why was an FIR not registered against the people who allegedly “gave” dowry as well? Law applies to both taking and giving. Or does law work only selectively when drama has to be created in media? Even after the Supreme Court has repeatedly warned against media trials and emotional public narratives, fake accusers continue turning every case into a TV serial so that allegations alone start looking like proof. This is exactly how public perception is manipulated before investigation or trial is even completed.
