@Kirstie15162239 @passportwaiting Definitely DO NOT withdraw your application. I did this 4 weeks ago (was told would be 2 weeks to return passport) and still not had withdrawal accepted. Have now lost £,000s on my holiday as too late to cancel or refund.

@passportwaiting So ive just called the Peterborough office and he was no help at all. My docs where recieved 4th october. Flying out on the 13th November. He said i should think about getting docs back and doing a fast track. What are ur thoughts on this

@phoenixpestsolu @passportwaiting Printed and sent this morning, 8.08am. I am waiting on one that was docs received 3mins later. Assessed yesterday but there's an issue with it. I had to call to find that out though. If you call the Bootle office and speak to Sue - you won't be disappointed. She's ace.

No hope for me now, I’m staying at home while my family go away (can’t spoil their holiday too 😔) I have everything crossed for you though.

@SimpleGull @AmyMelia5 @passportwaiting Thanks, my bank balance is feeling extremely sorry for itself I can tell you. It’s a total lottery as to when you get processed now. I’ve spoken to so many advisers who all are polite but just can’t actually help you sort their mess out 🤬

@VHebben @AmyMelia5 @passportwaiting Honestly feel so sorry for you. When I asked about it they advised it might take 2-3 weeks to withdraw and none of that other stuff. Sadly not surprised their messaging didn't keep up with the reality.

@SimpleGull @AmyMelia5 @passportwaiting Careful with this one. I withdrew my application 3 weeks ago hoping to get passport back and do fast track. Just been told still has to be examined before officially declared withdrawn, so another 3 weeks at least.

@LilySoffe @Naomi87431559 @passportwaiting It can take a couple of weeks for your documents to be linked to your application. You’ll keep getting the same tracking status until they either approve it or it goes to processing.

@Naomi87431559 @passportwaiting I did my passport renewal last Monday, sent my passport on Tuesday via signed for delivery with Royal Mail on tracking on the Royal Mail says it’s been recieved but when tracking my passport it says I still need to send my old passport

@TrulyThomas2 @cristina_cocean @darceycollier2 @passportwaiting No you have to withdraw your application first by letter then still wait for an examiner to agree the withdrawal. I’ve been told by HMPO twice when I managed to speak to them that collection isn’t possible and you have to wait for it to be returned by post or courier

@cristina_cocean Intrigued to hear if they let you have it back, they’ve refused me mine, said I have to wait for examiner to withdraw it from the system 🤷‍♀️

@darceycollier2 @passportwaiting Applied online on 23rd of September. Manage to talk to them last Friday and my passport was still awaiting to be processed. Yesterday we've been to Newport office and requested our old passport back.

They’ve told me now there is no time frame to returning your passport for you to try and get an online 1 week fast track.🤬

@carlygibbons21 @natcat2011 @passportwaiting I’d happily do this but was advised can’t collect old passports, have to be returned. Also seeing some people say even fast track isn’t guaranteed within a week 😩 was it recently you did this @carlygibbons21 ?

@GuySlade5 @HM_Passport Hope you’ve managed to get a response to this. I asked this myself on Monday but told it would complicate things as then looks like same person is applying for two passports.
