While it’s obvious that @AIADMKOfficial would be the main challenger for the ruling @arivalayam, the spirited challenge to the DMK from the former IPS officer Annamalai injected strong momentum into the opposition campaign in Tamil Nadu. It is a mistake to have sidelined such an earnest leader & I am not surprised that he is disinclined to contest in a context heavily loaded against the party’s growth trajectory.
