In Rishikesh, Hamid and Salman opened a shop selling quilts, mattresses, and blankets and caused a sensation throughout the market by offering them at incredibly low prices. Their shop was swamped exclusively by crowds of Hindus, for Hindus tend to flock to wherever they can find the cheapest deals.
Hindus, in their pursuit of bargains, do not stop to consider who the seller is, nor do they question why someone is selling goods at such rock-bottom prices.
In other words, items that typically cost a thousand rupees were being sold for as little as four hundred.
Hindu merchants across the entire market were left bewildered, wondering what kind of magic these men were performing. How could they possibly sell items for 400 or 500 rupees when the wholesale cost of those very goods was a thousand rupees?
When a private detective was hired to investigate, the shocking truth came to light. It was discovered that, across Western Uttar Pradesh and in Haridwar, wherever cremations take place, there is a tradition in which mourners leave behind the quilts, mattresses, and blankets used by the deceased at the cremation grounds. Hamid and Salman had established a sophisticated network to exploit this custom; they would have these bedding items collected from every cremation ground. They would then extract the cotton stuffing and use it to manufacture fresh quilts and mattresses. As for the blankets, they would have them professionally cleaned, pressed, and repackaged to look brand-new before selling them off!
Once all the evidence had been gathered, an outraged mob descended upon Hamid’s shop. The shop owner, Salman, fled the scene, and the premises were permanently padlocked.
Consequently, all those who had purchased quilts, mattresses, and blankets from this shop are now burning them.
This is because of a deeply held belief that traces of a deceased person's karma, both their good deeds and their misdeeds, linger within their bedding; therefore, such items are considered taboo and must never be used by the living.

An Army jawan from the Special Forces of the Parachute Regiment, posted in J&K, is running pillar to post to get an FIR registered after goons brutally assaulted his aged parents in village Kiri Afghana, Qadian assembly constituency.
I was informed about this by the Captain of his regiment. I raised the matter with the SSP Gurdaspur, yet even after 24 hours, the SHO Kahnuwan continues to refuse action—clearly under pressure from AAP leaders.
Both sons of the assaulted couple are serving the nation in the Army—one in J&K and the other in Assam.
Is this the reward for serving the nation?
Under CM @BhagwantMann, this is the grim reality of law and order in Punjab. @DGPPunjabPolice @PP_Gurdaspur

You might have seen numerous videos of Kashmiri Pandits breaking down in the theatres after watching #TheKashmirFiles. The emotion is real. It shows how long we kept our pain and tragedy repressed as a community. We didn’t have any shoulder to cry on and no ear to hear our pleas.

Today, we bow in reverence to the brave sons of Bharat Mata, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. Their martyrdom for the nation remains etched in our collective memory.
At a young age, they displayed extraordinary courage and an unshakable commitment to the cause of India’s freedom. Undeterred by the might of colonial rule, they chose the path of sacrifice with conviction, placing the nation above their own lives. Their ideals of justice, patriotism and fearless resistance continue to ignite the spirit of countless Indians.

Savarkar was a Nostradamus or the father of Bharat’s security as he correctly predicted almost all of our security challenges - from Pakistan to China to Assam.
In this video, I explain why India should have a Savarkar Doctrine to find solutions to India’s security challenges.
There is a debate going on whether Savarkar should be honoured with Bharat Ratna. In fact Bharat Ratna’s weight will increase if it is conferred on Savarkar.
But Bharat Ratna or not, India can’t delay coming up with a Savarkar Security Doctrine in view of the monumental security challenges that it will face in the time to come.

They Mocked India. Reality Mocked Them Back.
“India is boring.
Dirty.
Unsafe.
Leave this junkyard.”
That was the narrative.
Echoed.
Amplified.
Applauded.
Until reality hit back.
Hard.
Shah Rukh Khan called Dubai his second home.
Second home.
Funny how “perfect” places
suddenly come with contingency plans.
Virat Kohli + Anushka Sharma sold you:
Infinity pools.
Rooftop dinners.
Skyline perfection.
Reality doesn’t shoot in reels.
Saif Ali Khan + Sara Ali Khan:
“Dubai -Whole New You.”
True.
A new you that understands
how fragile comfort is.
Branding never shows
what happens under stress.
Hrithik Roshan
Farhan Akhtar
Abhay Deol
“Zindagi Ko Yas Bol.”
Zindagi doesn’t run on taglines.
And the intellectual class?
Clapping.
“THAT is civilization.”
“THAT is progress.”
“India is broken.” Today? Different story.
Dubai ≠ invincible
Europe ≠ stable
US ≠ unshakable
But India?
Still boring.
Stubbornly boring.
Strategically boring.
No panic.
No chaos.
No breakdown.
Just… stability.
Now where are they?
The LinkedIn experts.
The TV warriors.
The X generals.
“Why is Narendra Modi hugging Vladimir Putin?”
“Why is Modi close to Benjamin Netanyahu?”
“Why buy Russian oil?”
“India has no spine.” Remember that?
India spoke to everyone.
Russia
US
Japan
Israel
Iran
Gulf
Europe
Australia
Canada
Brazil
New Zealand
Even the Taliban.
They called it confusion.
India called it options.
When regions heated up →backchannels
When economies shook → trade routes
When alliances cracked → independence
Not luck.
Strategy. While reels sold dreams
Policy built resilience.
Now? Silence.
Same people quietly checking OCI cards.
Same voices suddenly respecting “boring.”
India isn’t perfect.
But today?
It’s steady.
Standing.
Unshaken.
Not bleeding.
Not begging.
Not bending.
And that came from the same diplomacy
they mocked as:
“spineless”
“compromised”
“weak”
So yes Come back.
Take the mic.
Explain again.
Because this time we’re remembering.
India isn’t trending. India is standing.
