How many of you are using multiple agents at the same time like this? For me one is enough and even that has me often feeling like I am working with alien technology...

This is the world we live in now. :D Congrats that sounds awesome! So I have to start asking questions on what kind of value can I provide in this new world. I think that releasing AI ready prefabs with pre built context making it super easy to do feature rich custom builds would be a great angle. Basically we can just build anything with Grok now and the most important thing will be knowing what to ask for and how to ask for it. That has more value than knowing how to do the thing right.

Ok so, the entire tech landscape has changed recently and its so drastic of a change that we gotta talk. Outside of stuff that is basically alien technology like Light volumes, LTCGI and probably anything involving spherical harmonics has been flattened to hell and back. Everything I have been building and taking months to do has recently been squashed into something anyone can pump out with some prompts. Want to know why we are seeing a sudden influx of "decorate your own apartment" mods and content lately? Because AI made that shit dirt simple to do. Software in general is being flattened. For awhile I had an advantage being able to set things up how I want. That advantage is gone. Now anyone can do what I do in minutes. You don't need pro TV anymore, just generate a video player that does what you need. Need DMX lighting? Just generate it yourself, no need to wait on someone else to set that up. Remember that RPG I flopped a year ago? Yeah, that can be squashed out by anyone in a week and have it be better than what I was doing. Its not that I wasn't using AI, I use AI a lot. It's that I wasn't using the latest shit we have access to right now in its full and proper form. This shit is so good that I don't quite know what to do other than just get all my maps out into Oasis 3. Then rethink everything. I have to pivot hard for this new paradigm. I imagine most people are afraid to talk about it. I am past the point of giving a crap about that right now.

A new clustered froxel-based lighting prototype for Light Volumes 3.0.0! It uses froxels to precompute visible light IDs, so shader don't have to iterate through every light. This scene has 128 active lights and performs around 60 FPS on Android. ~13 FPS with no clustering.

TheCastle here, PawnDriver is my personal account and I use AI extensively in everything I do. I don't care about debating the whole AI thing. I don't care what anyone thinks. I just want to make cool shit and support my friends. There is going to be a lot more AI content soon.

@VAV1ST Right now all of these are ported to VRChat the latest version of Oasis architecture. Porting to Basis is not the primary goal YET. The game I am working on is the Basis project.

@vfrmaverick443 The people in charge did the right thing and acted accordingly once information became available. They didn't hide it or sweep it under the rug. So good on them for that. Hopefully something new will take up the void left in the wake of this situation.

@VRUnderground I will say something unpopular. We should give this same energy to people who do the right thing. I have shut down many parties at my house and gave my bed to people that were in need. Slept on the floor of my own house. Just to make sure vulnerable people weren’t taken advantage

I am both upset and a mad in a way. Shelter was a major influence for me in 2019-2020... A lot of history there. Fuck man...

@Enigmvtic_ I am so sure this has been a thing for years now. I remember DMX controls using the video player in the early 2020s. It was one of the ways VRSL made money selling hardware for it.

@VAV1ST Its good for people at all levels. It flattens the process down to nothing. The only challenge is understanding how things work. Even then you might not need to know that either.

@VRUnderground Actually, I do not know. I think this is very useful for those who are already developers and speeds up writing code. For others, there will probably be a lot of mistakes.

Its interesting to see that pretty much everything I have been working on can be done so easily with the latest AI tools. It's an odd feeling.
