Yes, Female Vocational Teachers working as vocational teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam and run by TMP are denied to avail maternity leave benefits. Sir, one of the reason is - VOCATIONAL SUBJECTS. Almost 29000 students secured letter marks. These subjects includes 50 marks practical and 50 theory. Students secures good marks in practical and in theory paper, all questions are practical based. These subjects are helping students to- 1. Increase the percentage 2. To acquire skill Sir, everyone is talking about skills. But sir no one thinks about the vocational teachers. 1. We have no job security 2. Recruitment by third party pvt company but working in govt schools 3. Pay cut for performing election duty 4. No maternity leave 5. Salary Rs. 16000(nearly ) in hand despite having the status of Post Graduate teacher because we have to teach from class 9 to 12. 6. Massive corruption in recruiting teachers. 7. Mental exploitation 8. And many more.

If everything goes through, only then we “earn” our leave. This isn’t a system, it’s HARASSMENT. Our simple question: How long do we have to suffer like this? How can vocational teachers build a skilled Assam under such pressure? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. STOP THIS HARASSMENT.

HCM Sir, kindly take some steps for Vocational Teachers working in govt schools. Our contract ended on 31st March, 2026. Third parties asked us not to attend school. But despite such threatenings from third parties, we are attending school that too without any salary. HCM Sir, these third party system need to be removed. ASSEB (SEBA) has now started certifying NSQF certificates to the students opting vocational subjects. This is good news for us, as the State Board has finally intervened in the matter. But HEM Dr @ranojpeguassam Sir, what about Vocational Teachers ? When the exploitation of third parties will finally come to an end ? @himantabiswa @CMOfficeAssam @Samagra_Assam

Sir, kindly see the data. Students are outshining in vocational (NSQF) subjects in HSLC : highest number of letter marks! A total of 29246 secured letter marks in Vocational subjects. Why? Because these subjects focus on practical learning, helping students gain skills while boosting scores. But the alarming news is, on 31st March, 2026 our contract ended. Third parties issued notice that we shouldn't attend school from 1st April. But still we are attending schools that too without payment. Neither Samagra Shiksha nor Education Dept redressed our grievance. WE ARE USED AS DISPOSABLE. Whereas for us, students are securing highest number of letter marks. Third parties should be removed Sir. We hope you will look into the matter if possible.

Despite mental harassment and exploitation by third-party TMPs, teachers stood firm for students. We urge Hon’ble CM @himantabiswa , HEM @ranojpeguassam , MD @Samagra_Assam , Secy to Education dept @sanjayjavin , Union Minister of Education @dpradhanbjp , @psscive_bhopal to recognize this and remove the third-party (TMP/middlemen/dalals) from the system from vocational education system in school education.
