Walmart is introducing a stupid policy for online pickup & delivery associates to have to pull their carts instead of pushing them. Doesn’t sound too bad until you remember that these things are not made to pull, and sometimes have to carry over a hundred lbs worth of stuff (1/3)

And finally, they’re also swapping the wheels on the carts to force people to pull. These brakes on the wheels are supposed to be on the opposite side of the cart.
TL;DR Walmart is endangering the health of the employees of one of their biggest departments by violating OSHA.

Pulling heavy shit multiple hours a day is gonna be hell on your back, if you need to make an abrupt stop, I hope your heels are made of pure steel. They’re also disregarding warning stickers on the pick carts that explicitly say not to pull them. (2/3)
