తెలంగాణ ఏర్పాటుపై మొదటినుంచీ బీజేపీ విషం కక్కుతూనే ఉంది. కేసీఆర్ గారి నాయకత్వంలో దశాబ్దాల పాటు సాగిన సుదీర్ఘ పోరాటం, వేలాది మంది సబ్బండ వర్గాల త్యాగాల ఫలితంగా ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పాటు జరిగింది. తెలంగాణ అస్తిత్వం కోసం, హక్కుల కోసం రాజ్యాంగ బద్దంగా, ప్రజాస్వామ్యయుతంగా చేసిన పోరాటాన్ని దేశ విభజన లాంటి సంఘటనతో పోల్చడం ద్వారా బీజేపీ తన కుసంస్కారాన్ని బయటపెట్టుకుంది. అలాంటి అహంకార పూరిత వ్యాఖ్యలను ఒక బీజేపీ ఎంపీ తేజస్వి సూర్య చేస్తుంటే.. తెలంగాణ నుంచి గెలిచిన ఎనిమిది మంది బీజేపీ ఎంపీలు, కాంగ్రెస్ ఎంపీలు ఖండించకుండా దద్దమ్మల లాగా చూస్తూ ఉండడం సిగ్గుచేటు. పార్లమెంట్ సాక్షిగా నాలుగు కోట్ల తెలంగాణ ప్రజల ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని అవమానించిన బీజేపీ పార్టీ వెంటనే క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలి. The @BJP4India has consistently insulted the formation of Telangana. In the Indian Parliament, BJP MP @Tejasvi_Surya went so far as to compare the formation of Telangana to the partition of India and Pakistan. The people of Telangana elected 8 MPs each from the BJP and the Congress, yet not one of them objected to these arrogant remarks. Tejasvi, the people of Telangana demand an unconditional apology. They will also teach the BJP a fitting lesson.

The @BRSparty strongly condemns the highly insensitive and irresponsible remarks made by @Tejasvi_Surya Member of Parliament from the @BJP4India His comparison of the formation of Telangana state with the creation of Pakistan is not only factually incorrect but also deeply hurtful to the sentiments of nearly four crore people of Telangana. Such remarks undermine the decades-long democratic struggle and the sacrifices made by the people especially students, youth, and martyrs who fought tirelessly for statehood within the constitutional framework of India. The formation of Telangana in 2014 was a historic and legitimate outcome of a peaceful democratic movement. Equating it with Partition reflects a complete lack of understanding and respect for India’s federal structure and the aspirations of its people. The BRS views this statement as a direct insult to the dignity, identity, and self-respect of the people of Telangana. It also exposes a disturbing mindset within sections of the BJP leadership that seeks to belittle regional movements and create divisions for political gain. We demand an immediate and unconditional apology from Tejasvi Surya and the BJP. The party must clarify its stand and ensure that such irresponsible statements are not repeated. The BRS stands firmly with the people of Telangana and will continue to defend their honour, history, and democratic rights against any attempt to distort or demean them. @NitinNabin

The BJP spits venom against the formation of Telangana yet again! Likening the Telangana demerger to the India-Pakistan Partition is foolish and deserves strong condemnation. Telangana was formed due to the protracted struggle and sacrifices of its people. BJP leaders seem to have developed a habit of insulting the sacrifices and self-respect of the people of Telangana. It is utterly shameful that 8 Telangana BJP MPs sitting in the same house could neither stop nor correct their fellow MP’s unacceptable remarks. I condemn these remarks and demand an unconditional apology from @Tejasvi_Surya
