On Nov. 6, 2024, Edge Ops registered as a federal vendor. Last month, as we revealed at @levernews, it secured a $12 million contract with ICE to supply an analytic tool that ostensibly uses a “question based AI interface” to “map” ICE targets. No history of federal contracts.

After an obscure defense vendor won a $12 million no-bid contract w/ ICE, I noticed something odd on its website: The firm was using a (still watermarked!) stock photo for the chief of its “development team.” Things only got more bizarre from there…
