आज से लगभग 3 साल पहले सोने का भाव करीब 50–55 हजार रुपये प्रति तोला था। मार्च 2023 में हमारी शादी हुई। उस समय हमारे पिताजी ने हमें कोई घरेलू सामान नहीं दिया, जैसा आमतौर पर लोग अपनी बेटियों को देते हैं। शादी में जो खर्च हुआ, उसमें दावत, कपड़े, लड़के के लिए ज्वेलरी और एक कार शामिल थी। उस समय हमें समझ नहीं आया कि पिताजी ने हमें घरेलू सामान क्यों नहीं दिया। मन में थोड़ा सवाल भी था, क्योंकि दूसरों की शादियों में हम ऐसा होते देखते थे। लेकिन ससुराल में पहले से ही सभी जरूरी सामान मौजूद था, इसलिए उसकी वास्तव में जरूरत भी नहीं थी। पिताजी ने उस समय हमारे लिए जो सोना बनवाया था, उसकी कीमत लगभग 25 लाख रुपये थी, जो आज बढ़कर करीब 1 करोड़ रुपये के आसपास पहुंच गई है। क्या आप हमें बता सकते हैं कि अगर आज हम उतना ही सोना खरीदने जाएँ, तो उसकी वर्तमान कीमत क्या होगी? आज जब पीछे मुड़कर देखते हैं, तो पिताजी की दूरदर्शी सोच समझ में आती है। वो सिर्फ शादी नहीं कर रहे थे, बल्कि हमारे भविष्य को सुरक्षित कर रहे थे।
