This Government will support people and families with the cost of energy. We are finalising our proposals. Despite the shouting and roaring, Sinn Féin has not provided 1 cent to support the people of Northern Ireland through these challenging times.

@kenoflynnTD How many ipas centres will go cold? Will they have to choose between food and heat. While our taxes look after them and we are left struggling. 😡

Nineteen days have passed since the initial strikes on Iran. I was among the first to warn that fuel prices would rise sharply. It has taken the Government almost three weeks to acknowledge what families already feel every day. The Tánaiste said there should be no knee-jerk reaction. But when costs are rising this quickly, delay is not prudence. It is failure. It is easy to raise fuel taxes when you never queue at a pump. It is a different matter when you have to pay for it.

@FineGael So many parents getting rejection letters for children needing a place in a designated school to assist them. Classes in mainstream school does not suit all. Ye have failed and your useless leader and his as useless brother Adam have done nothing to help. All mouth.

Fine Gael knows that families are struggling with rising energy costs, as a result of the conflict in the Middle East. We’re now working on plans to help alleviate those pressures, which will be finalised at the next Cabinet meeting.

Fuel prices are putting real pressure on families right across the country. People are feeling the squeeze, and for many in rural Ireland there’s no alternative but to drive. (1/2)

Now I'm two months from the wedding, and my entire bridal party is "gently suggesting" I find something more "classic." My mother-in-law offered to buy me a "proper" dress from David's Bridal. But when I put this on, I see my grandmother's garden, her stories about village celebrations, the culture she left behind when she immigrated. Yes, it's not a traditional white gown. Yes, people might whisper. But isn't a wedding dress supposed to make you feel like the truest version of yourself? I'm torn between keeping peace and keeping this dress that makes my heart sing every time I look at those embroidered birds

🤯What a useless government! Fuel prices still going up. Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael doing nothing.  65% of what you pay at the pumps goes to the government. They could act today. We published the legislation. They could cut taxes on petrol, diesel and home heating oil immediately. But they choose to sit back. We won’t let this go. This government must do its job and take action to get fuel prices down!

@MaterTrauma Ye need a doctor at the door doing checks and sending those home who are not needing hospital care. Its madness. Poorly run. Was there last year sent by GP. Classed as high priorty. Still sitting in A&E 13 hrs later. While those who shouted loudest were looked after.
