“Which we can clearly sustain indefinitely.”

I refuse to believe that anyone bullish on ETH has actually used the chain

Today, @aave experienced over $200 million in liquidations within just 24 hours – the largest event since August 2024. This represents roughly 30% of all liquidations since Aave’s inception, and even more impressively, bad debt has actually decreased. This suggests that our DeFi ecosystem is built on a strong foundation, which includes: -> Rigorous collateral selection and management through governance -> Efficient protocol design for liquidations -> Thick liquidity pools in ecosystem Moreover, considering that Aave v3.3, v4, and the umbrella updates haven't been implemented yet, the future of DeFi looks exceptionally promising. I express my gratitude to those who designed and managed this robust infrastructure, including @StaniKulechov, @marczeller, @eboadom, and @omeragoldberg. Just use Aave. DeFi will win.

JavaScript is the most decent language: - Decent package manager - Decent closure support - Decent fast runtime - Decent type system (with ts) Often, being decent at everything is better than being excellent at a few things and embarrassingly bad at others (Haskell) BTW, Bend is D in its current state. MEV became an issue, so instead of trying to find solutions against it, we've glorified it and are now catering the protocol and infra around it to proprietary MEV builders instead of local block producers. It's futile to fight against MEV os might as well lean hard on it, right?
