actually - fsd is great for most people. For my dad it's only an added layer of safety. He currently drives often without using FSD because he is still a very good driver.... i simply appreciate the safety of the car. However - it would be nice if the interface was easier for MANY non-techie users.

@4thOfJuly365 Attack an officer on duty in any way, that person should be shot do all I care. It’s amazing how much restraint these officers have.

At first I thought this was excessive force, but then I noticed the guy biting the cops ankle. Do you think the cop went too far?

@DevinOlsenn @MarcVegan But I WANT it to take the handicapped spot. Bit I and my wife have access to it. However, I guess when Banish arrives it doesn’t matter anymore.

@MarcVegan Yeah 100% there needs to be more parking options available to the end user - but I appreciate that for now it's just avoiding the spots altogether.

Has anyone had FSD V14.2.2.5 park in a Handicap parking spot? I can't remember the last time the car has tried pulling into a handicap spot, which makes me think they've made some improvements to the parking logic along the way. Post any videos if you have it

@JCChristopher If FSD is approved nationwide unsupervised, I would expect airlines and hotels will see some change in business. Place an air. Mattress in the back and sleep while the car move on. :-)

I'm deaf and can't hear sirens, but my Tesla FSD pulled over instantly for an ambulance. I caught it on the app screen record. This is why FSD is huge for deaf drivers: it “hears” what I can't and keeps everyone safer. 🚑🤖 #Tesla #FSD #DeafCommunity #Accessibility

@BLKMDL3 Can confirm. Even on snow covered roads here in Toronto, FSD handled it smoothly! My one and only complaint is that (even in hurry mode) it tries to always leave the HOV lanes. This is especially bad when it makes a huge difference in time during rush hours!!

10 drives and many hours into FSD v14.2.2.5, here are my thoughts: Every drive was polished and smooth. First of all, I immediately noticed that creeping for unprotected turns is quicker and improved on my drives so far. It isn’t double stopping as much, commits and proceeds. Standard mode on streets + highway was quick to get around slower cars, the lane selection and reaction is very quick, it’s being assertive and making great lane choices while doing so. I don’t see navigation bugs or weird turns here in LA like some owners have been reporting throughout the country. Navigation here seems dialed and consistent here with the exception of LAX airport. More on that later. Lane selection was great tonight around parked cars on the side of major streets. When traffic was moving fast it was always in the middle lane, and I like this so it’s not flying by cars parked just to the right of the right lane, it was in the middle. Could be coincidence, but happened a couple times tonight and very human-like decision making and behavior. Standard profile is being quite good tonight with lane decisions and being assertive, but the hard cap of +5mph city and +7mph over really gets in its way on the highway and city when trying to make passes. Hurry mode doesn’t have this issue on the highway, and its choices tonight on the freeway with traffic were great. On the freeway tonight, with all speed profiles it was really good about not camping in left lane. Over the past few versions this has been improving and getting more dialed in, but was especially noticeable tonight and I took the freeway a few times. It would make its pass, and immediately get to the second or third lane. It’s done this before but it did it way quicker and more consistent than other builds tonight. Could’ve been the light traffic- although it did it all night. Turns were early enough and smooth, did one later entrance into one turn/bus lane, but no traffic and it was a tight lane so I see why it waited. Parking garage behavior was unchanged from last build, so was the speed profile speed caps. On the most recent build, the only place I saw anything wrong with navigation is LAX airport with the two levels, sometimes it gets confused and will go to the top arrivals floor instead of bottom. It did it last week, and I’ll try it again with this build. Very confusing area since the levels are almost stacked, but run parallel and next to each other. Parking tonight was good- I noticed with the revision build of v14.2.2.4 (v2) the perpendicular parking improved and it feels the same as that build. Parallel parking in front of my house just now was great, tried it here and a couple spots in town. FSD is getting so good that I have to go search for any little change, would love some more detail on the next set of release notes so we know what to look for. Drives now are so consistent and uneventful in a good way. It’s just so darn amazing. We know it’s gotten awesome when we’re nitpicking the smallest little details now. The drives tonight were great, and handled a ton of pedestrian traffic. I saw Whole Mars said earlier that this build has more personality and I see exactly what he means. With each new version FSD gains polish and becomes more and more humanlike, if not better. Thanks again @Tesla_AI for the Valentine’s Day FSD release! I guess it was the only blessing in disguise I didn’t have any plans this evening so I could go drive this for hours. Enjoy the update everyone!

Tesla has put a hefty price tag on safety, $1,188 a year, every year, for as long as you own the car. Keeping your family and everyone else on the road safe shouldn’t feel like a subscription service.

@Tesla The only thing I fault our Tesla is the apparent impossibility to connect my hearing aid to the Grok voice by Bluetooth. So the Grok experience is lost on me. Quite sad actually. :-)
