Overwhelmingly, the number of people on this platform asking other people to ‘be kind’ or ‘compromise’ and saying ‘is that too much to ask?’ are men. The same demographic that starts all the wars, ever.

This is the REAL Handmaiden’s Tale!⬇️ A woke white woman tells the young girls who lost medals in three events to a seventh grade boy—who identifies as a girl—to get used to being disappointed. She advises the girls to adopt a “growth mindset” and accept their losses to males. She says a girl who submits & meekly accepts defeat by a male is learning “resilience.” 🤡@clownworld

@jonalexbrayshaw @roisinmurphy Forcing your way into women’s spaces, harming children with pushes on fake identities, erasing concepts of sex and same-sex attraction, “queering” everything, bastardising language, chilling free speech - need I go on?

Dear @roisinmurphy being a majority is not a thing of worth. Society is made up of many, many microniches in 2026 and you wanting to belong to the herd makes you seem, well a wee bit moribund. You might want to look it up love. You're a supremacist who is anything but supreme.
Miffy@miffythegamer

Oh no. Roisin’s at the “silent majority” stage of the TERF radicalisation pipeline. Got any more rightwing populist clichés for us babes?

The only reason I have this platform, or even use X, is my support of women who understand the reality of sex. To mark reaching 35k followers, below are 30 women with under 1k followers, who I think should have a louder voice than me. Wide ranging views, one fight in common.

"Bring It Back", @roisinmurphy! Love & Hugs from Zurich! Your fan @AtticusJazz

@jan_murray @Glinner The point is your views are immaterial. They were not part of the choir repertoire and no one was going to hear them at the performance. I’m sure I disagree with many opinions held by performers at charity events but it hardly matters if they raise money or encourage support.

Another public statement from Scope that targets me - suggesting that my lawful views 'alienate others'. And that I am not an 'appropriate' volunteer for the charity. In a thread on Scope's own discussion forum - where multiple disabled people defend my position. Including one who says they're taking Scope out of their will - as a direct result of their actions towards me and my choir. Just extraordinary 🤷‍♀️

@BevJacksonAuth @Glinner @scope He’s an interim so they will take the opportunity to jettison him when the recruitment process for CEO is complete. He has shown poor judgement and it has been a PR disaster for @scope, an unsurvivable gaffe for a senior exec.

I don’t really see how John McLachlan of @scope could have behaved any worse. First he disinvites a choir because of two anonymous objections to a member’s lawful views. Then he gets legal advice - and dozens of furious responses - and realizes Scope is in legal jeopardy. So he then reinvites the choir to avoid getting sued but does so in the most graceless possible way. How dare he describe gender-critical views as “highly polarizing” and “deeply upsetting and alienating” to some “valued members” and offer to “support anyone who has been affected”! You know who has been affected? The choir members who have been practicing for ages and looking forward to singing at this event. To support charities - which is what they do. I don’t know whether they will still feel like singing after this insulting behaviour. Nor do I know if they still have grounds to sue. All I know is that John McLachlan is a contemptible individual and that gender identity doctrine is one of the worst censorship cults that has ever afflicted the culture sector.
Janet Murray@jan_murray

🚨 UPDATE: Scope has reversed its decision and reinstated my choir Pleased to say Scope has now reinstated the invitation for my choir to perform at the London Marathon tomorrow. While this is a win, the distress and uncertainty caused by this situation has taken its toll. At present, only one fellow choir member has said they feel comfortable performing tomorrow. Understandably so. In a statement published on their website this evening, they’ve confirmed the choir is not political - and never was. They also acknowledge that my gender-critical beliefs, cited as the reason for dropping us, are lawful -and that those views are mine and separate from the choir as a whole. All of which we knew all along. However, they go on to describe gender-critical views as “highly polarising” and potentially “deeply upsetting and alienating” - language and ideological framing that echoes previous public commentary that presented my lawful, mainstream views as extreme. While this is a win, the distress and uncertainty caused by this situation has taken its toll. At present, only one fellow choir member has said they feel comfortable performing tomorrow. We are now considering our options.

I don't have too much to say about #Parkrun, except that I completely support the actions of @wsusportsunion. (Yeah, long post follows) I don't think much hangs on the slightly annoying 'is it a race?' question. Some people certainly treat it as a race and some people don't. (I think it's a race, but I don't think anything much hangs on this point.) What we all know is that it has *categories*. The point of those categories is to distinguish male performances from female performances, else why have them? It would be coherent to abolish timings, results, and categories, but I think that would be a great shame. It's not coherent to have categories designed to distinguish between the performances from people with two types of bodies, and then turn a blind eye when people with male bodies register times in the female category. Women - adult human females - *deserve* fair results at all levels of sport. Men get them at Parkrun, why shouldn't women? You don't have to provide categorised results, or any results at all. But if you do, you should try to ensure that they are fair. Four more things: No one is 'banned', obviously. There is no 'enforcement' issue, obviously. The ADF are not my cup of tea, and I deplore many of their policies and actions in the US. I also deplore the misogynistic attacks, here and elsewhere, on Sharron, Tracey, and particularly on @mara_yamauchi who is as courageous and tenacious as, well, the most tenacious thing you can think of: maybe a honey badger? (I mean this in a good way, Mara!) I hope the legal threat works, and that Parkrun changes its policy to one that is properly respectful of women. There. I said I didn't have much to say.

Great point. No woman would ever talk about wanting to have kids some day at the age of 64. Only a man who absolutely knows they're a man and sees themselves as a man would say that.

@jk_rowling @surreykiwi @donotwobble @tonymc39 @theglassfish13 You can call a bull a cow for all I care, telling you that calling a man “she” is actually him policing your language is not “authoritarian”. Linguistic prescription is authoritarian. It’s one of the things trans activists have used, with enormous success. Seeking to control what people are allowed to say is a hallmark of cults and totalitarian regimes. I do not subscribe to the post modern ideas that changing language changes reality, that redefining something alters its nature, that our conception of a thing is of more importance than observable facts about the thing itself. To me, this kind of thinking is a dead end full of people pontificating and obfuscating, enjoying the sounds of their own voices while the world burns outside. Some gender critical people seem to think that demanding we all use correct sex pronouns will return the world to sanity. This is an attempt to make the tail wag the dog. You cannot fight linguistic prescription with more linguistic prescription, and no rights campaign can succeed if its adherents are more interested in creating a purity spiral than allowing the smallest space for nuance or for the complexities of human nature and feelings.

Men have no one but themselves to blame for the way women feel about them. For example, my dad would never have said that, and if one of his friends had said it, there would have been a fight. As a result, I believe most men are capable of being decent human beings, no matter how many individual men prove themselves to be otherwise. If I thought men couldn’t do better, I’d stop trying to push them into doing so.
