I also don't want to have to ask my doctor for a prescription nor permission when ordering a beer at a bar either. in the 1920's prescriptions were available for whisky. dumb then, dumb now.

@VaporMan6 @skyrei88 @FionaPattenMLC It’s a matter of balance, I agree. Smoking has a fair bit of stick built right in, if you are willing to educate people, then they will realise that, and react accordingly. Who knows they might actually do a better job if they wield the stick themselves?

IMHO some tweaking would be helpful to give heavy smokers a better time of it, by increasing the nicotine cap enough to cater for them better. As a quick fix Aus could adopt it wholesale, better than you have now!

We found a way out, a way to reduce the risk of a painful and uncomfortable death, but retain enough pleasure to make it easy.
