Mr. @SecMullinDHS, as you step into your new position I ask you to provide particular consideration to the status of Iranian students and professionals in the United States who may be at risk of immigration complications due to Presidential Proclamations 10949 and 10998. Many of these individuals fled the Islamic Republic’s because they believe in freedom, democracy, and the values this country stands for. They are also contributing to the United States every day. They arrived in this country legally, followed the rules, respect this country and its system of law and order and are among the most dedicated and accomplished contributors to American society. I ask that you and your department consider these factors, plus the personal and political risk many of these young people would face if sent back to the criminal regime in Iran. America’s concerns for its national security and the threat posed by the Islamic regime to the homeland are entirely justified. To that end, my office stands ready to provide you and your colleagues with regime operatives, propaganda agents, and influence networks for investigation and removal from the United States. Thank you for your consideration.

Secretary @marcorubio Iranian immigrants have long contributed to the U.S. economy, especially in STEM, medicine and AI. Most strongly oppose the Islamic regime and support the goal of a strong and secure USA under President Trump and your leadership. Over the past few months, many have faced serious hardship due to the USCIS hold. They are here legally and often hold advanced degrees. Returning them to Iran would place them in danger and risk sending highly trained experts in strategic fields back to the Iranian regime. We would greatly appreciate it if you could revisit this decision. Thank you for your consideration.

Thousands of Iranian students came to the U.S. legally. They went through one of the longest and strictest vetting processes of any nationality. They studied here, followed the law, and are now PhD graduates, doctors, engineers, and researchers contributing to American science and innovation. But now their immigration cases are suddenly stopped. • OPT for Iranian graduates has been paused, meaning many who just finished their degrees cannot work in the fields they trained for. • Some were waiting for Employment Authorization Documents, paused. • Some were waiting for green cards, stalled. • Others were in the middle of an Adjustment of Status, now frozen. This pause was supposed to last 90 days to review vetting procedures. Many are now in limbo. These are people who followed every rule, built careers here, and are among the highest-tax-paying communities in the U.S. Punishing the very people who came legally and contribute to American science, medicine, and technology makes no sense.

While President Trump’s offer of U.S. support to members of Iran’s women’s soccer team highlighted America’s longstanding commitment to protecting those facing threats from the Islamic Republic, there is another group of highly skilled Iranian nationals in the U.S. who are also in need of consideration and support. A recent USCIS policy memorandum has paused certain immigration benefits for individuals from 39 countries, including Iran. This pause affects categories such as OPT and OPT extensions, H-1B and H-1B extensions, Adjustment of Status (green card), and Employment Authorization Documents (EAD). Many Iranian scholars, researchers, engineers, and other professionals currently in the United States came here legally after undergoing rigorous background checks, extensive vetting, and formal visa interviews. They have maintained lawful status and have contributed meaningfully to American universities, research institutions, businesses, and the broader U.S. economy. I respectfully urge USCIS to reconsider and lift the hold on academic- and employment-based categories such as NIW-EB2, EB-1, H-1B, and OPT for Iranian nationals who have complied fully with U.S. laws and whose safety could be at risk if forced to return under current conditions. USA has no allies left except Israel. Today another country said USA cannot use their bases. The latest no thanks USA was UAE. And as an Iranian citizens, I’m shocked at what you cheer on happening in Iran. Brute force never works in the Middle East. A lot of people are going to die and be hurt. Only a small percentage of Iranians that I know I’m talking about my experience. I’m not saying that’s the universal truth but in my experience only a small percentage of Arabians support what USA is doing. Yes they hate their regime but they hate USA and Israel, even more and these attacks have united the people together. Besides USA went there like a wrecking ball without any real strategy who is going to lead the country now. USA is hoping for civil war but I’m not sure that’s going to happen. In any case, anyone that supports their country being bombed in order to force the government leader to get out which will always invariably kill endless numbers of innocent people it’s hard to trust their motive And you’re still cheering on the war after knowing that USA and Israel bombed a school that killed 160 beautiful precious Iranian girls😡😡😡 It’s hard to trust your motives after your stance on Iran.

این همه فشار برای چه؟ ای اصحاب یمین و یسار! اجازه دهید چند نفری هم در این میانۀ میدان حضور داشته باشند تا رویدادها را با "عقل سرد" خود ببینند و تحلیل کنند و بر اساس آن طرفین دعوا را انذار دهند! به خدا به جایی برنمی‌خورد! این نوشته‌ها نه مانع ظهور یک انقلاب می‌شود و نه انقلاب به پا می‌کند! نه خونی را نادیده می‌گیرد نه خونی به پا می‌کند! نه حمایتگر نیروی خاصی است و نه کینه‌ای نسبت به نیروی دیگری دارد. این همه فشار روانی برای ساکت کردن یک "نگاه متفاوت" برای چیست؟ هر کدام از طرفین چه سودی از آن می‌برند؟ من در هر حال، در عذاب برزخ هولناک بین مرگ و زندگی در آن تنگنای انفرادی با خود عهد کرده‌ام که به هیچ انقلابی نپیوندم، چه انقلابِ نیم قرن پیش و چه انقلابی برای آینده. با خود عهد کرده‌ام که در تحلیل مسائل سیاسی، مغلوب عواطف و احساسات بیکران خود نشوم و غم و اندوهم را در دل و جانم دفن کنم و به میان جمع نکشانم و عاطفۀ کسی را هم در امر سیاسی تحریک نکنم. در شرایط انقلابی، فقط می‌توانم خاموش باشم! بسیار راحت و بی‌هزنیه هم هست!
