Under the USSR Ukraine flourished. It was one of the wealthiest, industrialised republics in the USSR and anything positive it has now is directly related to the so called "violent occupation". Without the Bolsheviks there would be no Ukraine.
Kraut@The_Davos_Man

The Soviet Union was an Empire that violently forced itself over other nations Russia is an Empire that violently forces itself over other nations When you commies tell Ukrainians you want the Soviet Union back, all you are saying is that you prefer Imperialism under red flags.

@Marsilmad @Davelatics @JakeArkwright Yes indeed. I say that if you fart in modern house, you have to open the window, because air pressure becomes too high 😁 (air tightness is one of the important criteria).

@Vat_Tas @Davelatics @JakeArkwright EU quality regulations generally tend to be stricter than North American. What I do know is that new/quality windows here seal well and make a big difference in hydroelectric bills.

@Hettiewaynthrop @CraigMurrayOrg It might be a huge shock to you, but russia flies such "spy" missions near the borders of other countries regularly. Try using at least some of the brains next time.

@CraigMurrayOrg This is how wars start. Why was the RAF plane there? What did they expect to happen. Imagine if Russia did that.

I didn’t vote for Donald Trump because I thought he was flawless. I voted because I thought he was the last off-ramp. The lesser of two evils… with a promise that actually meant something. No new wars. End the old ones. Put America First. That message hit hard. It felt like a reset. But look around now. Conflicts aren’t ending — they’re multiplying. Billions are still pouring overseas. Military support keeps expanding into places most Americans can’t even point to on a map. And back home? People are drowning quietly. Groceries cost more every week. Families are hanging on by a thread. Veterans — the ones who already gave everything — are still sleeping on the streets. Debt is crushing. Stress is everywhere. So I keep coming back to one question: What happened to America First? Because this doesn’t feel like it. This feels like the same machine… just repainted. I didn’t vote for global escalation. I didn’t vote to fund the world while Americans fall behind. I voted for peace abroad and stability at home. And right now? That promise feels further away than ever. This isn’t just disappointment anymore. People are starting to wake up.

@Davelatics @JakeArkwright Sliding windows cannot have good insulation/airtightness by design (even if there are solutions against this, these would be quite costly). Window has to press firmly against the frame to provide good heat insultation, so you would need sliding+locks similar to non sliding window

@bielarusajed @JakeArkwright Outward opening windows have advantage in windy areas - wind pressure press the window into the frame, making it even more airtight. Inward opening windows will bend a little in strong winds even with good locking mechanisms.

@JakeArkwright I don't understand why anybody would want windows opening outward, but maybe that's because I can't imagine how those can work except for you to go half a body out the window, and eventually fall out from your 15th or something floor apartments while trying closing those drunk.

Я был неприятно удивлен что уровень жизни в лучших городах Европы сильно уступает Москве. Прибалтике же - захолустье, которое сейчас даже с Казанью не сможет конкурировать.

🚨 WOW! A European reporter just COMPLAINED about President Trump delaying troop deployments to Poland, and JD Vance hit back HARD "The U.S. CANNOT be the policeman of the world... Europe HAS to stand on its own two feet." 🔥 "I think that if the European media wants to attack the president of the United States, they need to start looking in the mirror." "I'm 41 years old. For my entire life, I have heard chirping from the European media about everything that's wrong with the United States of America. 'We don't have this. We don't have that. We don't spend enough on healthcare' — even though part of the reason why we spend so much on defense was because we have TENS OF THOUSANDS of troops in Europe!"
