@Adolfers316 @MajestyRia Out of curiosity are they Mexican citizens who cross using them? Or are they U.S. citizens who own them? That’s honestly surprising my state won’t even let you register BYD cars in it.

@VenomousWilly @MajestyRia Wrong, I live on border town. They cross all the time (BYD, JAC, MG) I'm pretty sure we're gonna start seeing them in the used market soon

They sell Chinese vehicles in Mexico. What would happen if I just.. drove one over? How would I insure it? Will the U.S gov eventually confiscate it? Will I be fined? Arrested? What?

@cristo_bal54 @MajestyRia Yeah cause most CBP on the border suck and don’t do their job beyond scanning passports and hitting f4. They’re suppose to be paying attention to things like this since bringing in a vehicle to the United States via sea air or land qualifies as a taxable entry lmao.

@levin86 @kaitybella @Xathian1 My car gets 35 miles to the gallon or so, work is 11.5 miles away but most of that is sitting in idle traffic just burning gas so probably more like 25-30 mpg in I gotta go to work and back from work 5 days a week 115 miles a week that’s 5 gallons if I don’t go ANYWHERE else.

@belree__ @AmiriKing Obviously he’s at fault for falling asleep and incredibly stupid. it’s more just the fact she freaked out. If you’re gonna be a cop you gotta be able to just keep your emotions controlled. I’ve met some women who can stay calm in crazy situations but they’re the exception.

This is EXACTLY why women shouldn’t be in: • law enforcement • politics • the military • positions of power I dare one woman to argue this with me.

@possum_simp @colinokeefe A big reason a lot of normal cops don’t live in the community is sometimes cops aren’t paid well enough for the respective community. Isle of palms has its own police force here in the low country but a house is roughly 2 million minimum, cops in the city get paid like 65k

@LadyDiFall1 @Jess_inthewild @BarronGhost If they’re not searching your vehicle it’s not a stop and frisk or unreasonable search, every state has the right to demand you show identification that allows you to drive as they issued you that license and it’s officially government property.

@LilBill811 @Jess_inthewild @BarronGhost Yeah but you can travel via your legs if you wanted is the counter argument to that, would that be impractical in the modern day? Yes but it was also in the 1800s which is why the average man never left his city much less his state back then.

@VenomousWilly @Jess_inthewild @BarronGhost In the case of moving from one state to another, and more broadly and generally as some people argue, the right to travel would be infringed by this practice. Driving is a state granted privilege tied to commerce, requiring a license, whereas traveling is an inherent right.

Bro this is copium on steroids 😂 Soldier Boy’s blast didn’t ‘depower’ shit in the vial, the writers just needed another lame plot device so Homelander can stay OP without earning it. Vought’s magic blue water has been plot armor since S1. This theory is what happens when fans defend mid writing instead of admitting the show peaked at S3 and is now running on fumes. You’re free to change my mind.

I have a theory. Soldier Boy was holding the V1 in his hands when he used his powers to make Bombsight human again, but since he was holding the V1 in his hands, his powers affected the drug and made it lose it supe making ability. So the V1 homelander took is just blue water.

@severn_studios @poisonjr Realistically Illinois would just end up another state like Iowa. But you see cases where the Republican florida land oppresses Miami.

@hannahbartlet51 I don’t totally disagree, but legally speaking the state can revoke your license at any time for sometimes arbitrary reasons. And rights are a federal concept, states have far more power over the individual as long as the bill of rights or other amendments don’t mention it.

Even though most cities are not walk friendly....it feels like its a right and not privilege at this point
William Hayes@VenomousWilly

@Jess_inthewild @BarronGhost Idk it’s a weird legal area since technically you have no right to drive on public roads/highways, and given driver licenses are issued by the state and are a privilege not a right there is some legality to it.

This is the type of person you have to be to get hired at Citadel Ken Griffin once asked a Harvard graduate with a Citadel offer letter what he would do if he had $10 million in his bank account The young man replied that he would quit his job to travel and climb the highest peaks around the world Ken Griffin responded by saying that Citadel was not the right fit for him

Perfect rage bait for this site. But the OP is mostly correct (there are some individuals in the pick who aren't 7s, to say the least) These women do expect their guy to look good, make 6 figures, take care of himself, and be "interesting." But with young men falling behind, there's not enough candidates to go around, thus their standards can appear unrealistic while these women think there's GOOD MEN scarcity. This dynamic underscores most dating scene complaints

This is what an above average group of 7/10 American girls looks like. They're business students from a very good school (which already raises the average by a lot) They also have significantly below national average BMI. They gonna be top 15% earners. So, in order to looks and status match with them, you should be about 6 feet tall, be in decent shape, dress well, and earn about $150k. The numbers don't lie.
