Today,we concluded the #training of managing directors from 30 districts of companies operating under the #VeterinarySanitaryMandate. The aim was to equip them with professional ethics and the necessary skills required to execute their technical & professional duties @RwandaAgri

The training was blended with #fieldstudy @Nyamasheke,reported as a #model in implementing #VeterinarySanitaryMandate.Sharing experience,#ViceMayor FED emphasized that district leadership, mentorship of private #vets,stakeholders engagement are the pillars sustaining this Model.

Stakeholders engagement in #research is a vital pathway for co-creation of solutions and achieving meaningful impact. Today, our researcher Sylvere Hategekimana presented findings from his study titled “Challenges and Opportunities of Electrification in the Dairy Value Chain.” The seminar brought together farmers, policymakers, industry representatives, and heads of cooperatives, participating in meaningful discussions about the challenges faced by #Milk Collection Centres #MCCs, particularly in rural areas. One of the sustainable solutions proposed was the adoption of solar energy as an alternative power source for milk cooling, aimed at improving milk quality and reducing production costs. Sylvere Hategekimana is a PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology #Sweden, under @URSwedenProgram, a bilateral research cooperation between the Government of #Rwanda and #Sweden.
