@Saliu_ade @jon_d_doe Your political decision is the reason why people are killed carelessly like cattle, the reason why families and their children starve to death despite working hard, the reason people die from treatable illness since they can't afford health care. And you think it doesn't matter.

I honestly don’t understand why supporting APC automatically makes someone ev'il online. Politics is based on opinions. Nobody knows everything for sure, and the same people ins"ulti!ng APC supporters today have probably trusted them before and still got disappointed too. Instead of attacking people or calling them thugs and illiterates, why not just explain why you disagree with them? Everybody has the right to support whoever they want politically. Anyways I'm voting APC

Please take this as my personal opinion. If you vote for APC, you're either an illiterate, ignorant, a thug, a greedy person, or a tribal or religious bigot. You love it when people suffer grief & beg you to feed. You're seeing red but deliberately calling it green. End.

@cocojavu They all know something about the last election that the public doesn't know, so they are rattled by Obi. How can a man without "any structure", no governor, no senator, no house of rep, no chairman, etc. Shake Nigeria politics the way Obi did in 2023? They are living in denial

You men started gifting women cars because they gave birth, and now you all are complaining “women are now too materialistic” My guy’s wife just put to bed, this is their second child, when she had the first baby, he gave her a push gift of 500k. But this time, he couldn’t get her anything, and looking at her you can see that she’s not happy. My friend told me how unhappy his wife has been since they returned from the hospital. I asked him if he got her anything after the delivery? He said NO

@NecheXTech That's not the first thing they will do, as a matter of fact, you build your country so well that your citizens will roam the world and people will be scared to hurt them. I doubt if the South Africans engaging in xenophobia will hurt any American citizen.

If Igbo had a nation of her interest. The first thing do they would do will be; Evacuate all Igbos from South Africa Terminate all relationship with South Africa Cancel all bilateral relationship and ban South Africans from stepping foot into Igbo land Dialogue does not work in the present of weakness and strength, it only works with strength And South Africa needs to be taught a bitter lesson Total Isolation would be the best response I'm looking for.

@Tonybrainy Democracy indeed, African leaders commit electoral fraud and a lot of the followers see it as strategy. There is no depth to what your politicians do, they just induce with money and/or promises or threaten with violence, in a bad system, one will always work. The masses suffer.

There are no special forces working against Peter Obi the reality is simpler, politics demands depth, strategy, and experience. Power is not served à la carte. Every serious contender has their own ambition, and no one steps aside just because another person shows up. Politics is about the structure you’ve patiently built over time, networks, loyalty, influence. You don’t emerge from relative obscurity and expect power to be handed over by those who have spent years laying the groundwork. On what basis? The sense of entitlement from Obi and some of his supporters is misplaced. Even Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who played a key role in building the APC, still had to boldly assert “Emilokan” to claim his moment. So tell me who the hell is Peter Obi?

Once again, Peter Obi cannot win the 2027 Presidential election and you and I know why, you can deny the reality staring you in the face. And if Tinubu does it through his usual style the chances of Nigeria recovering become thinner. The longer the citizens wait to take their country back the more sinister the future of their children becomes. End!

Peter Obi@PeterObi·
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@abbkar_ai With regards to number 7, if others should dollarize their ways into winning the primaries, why should Tinubu not deploy any means to be declared the winner? Which morality will you use to judge him if he inserts his loyalist as the INEC chairman or bribe the judiciary?

This is my stance. My final stance. Please read carefully. 1. I am part of the coalition; I support ADC fully. 2. The only way Tinubu can be defeated in 2027 is through the coalition, and anyone trying to divide the coalition is working for Tinubu. 3. I will not follow either Peter Obi or Kwankwaso out of ADC. 4. As I have said before, there are no free meals in ADC. 5. How do you plan to defeat Tinubu with all his machinations if you cannot win the primaries of your party? 6. Anyone afraid to contest the ADC primaries is a coward and does not deserve my support. 7. You claim Atiku wants to dollarize the ADC primaries, and so what? We all know there will be no delegates at the primaries, so why not play the same game and win? 8. This is the game Tinubu is playing. 9. Are you suggesting that Atiku is richer and more financially capable than Peter Obi and Kwankwaso combined, including their supporters? 10. Are we saying Obi and Kwankwaso cannot pool their funds to win the ADC primaries? 10b. Nigerians are not looking for saints. We want a man with the capacity to lead. If you need to spend money to get there, please do so. It's part of politics played all over the world. 10c. None of these aspirants is a saint. None! So, spend the money. Mobilize voters and win the primaries. 11. We all agree to support anyone who wins the ADC primaries, and that's where I stand. 12. Anybody leaving ADC at this critical time is working for Tinubu’s re-election. 13. You will never win on your own in any other party. 14. Don't let your personal ego, greed, and ambition jeopardize the futures of millions of Nigerians looking to you for salvation. 15. Let's go to the primaries, play the politics, and win. This is the only way you will earn respect within ADC, and it’s the only way to prove you are ready and capable of defeating Tinubu. 16. Fight and win the ADC primaries than cowardly chickenning out to a soft landing that will be a complete waste of time. I have no interest in a wild goose chase. 17. There will be no free meals or freebies in ADC. There will be no coronation in ADC. 17a. If Atiku step-down for Obi at the primaries, will Tibubu also step down for Obi at the presidential elections? 17b. This is a battle for men and not for boys. 18. Let the primaries begin. — Lawrence Ibe

@Nprince4real @jon_d_doe When you're fighting for your survival, you consider all obstacles. If people vote and remain in their polling unit to ensure that the votes are counted, and even escort the register to the next collation center, it would be an attempt at saving the lives of our loved ones.

My advice to you young men and women. Take the 2027 elections seriously. Face it as if your life depends on it. You're fighting for the soul of your country. Do it peacefully but fearlessly. Shun any attempt to bribe you with money, food, etc, to sell your conscience & future. Support your candidate of your choice. For me & my household, our support would go to Peter Obi and Kwankwaso. It doesn't matter which political party you support. Let whoever wins the presidential election be seen to have won freely, fairly and credibly. When Buhari won in 2015, most of us didn't feel cheated. We were happy but we later got disappointed. I believe that Buhari won the 2015 elections, and that was why we all had to suffer our fate. For 2023, it was marred by alot of violence, doubts and credibility. But since our court had certified that the election was won by Tinubu, I'll not say that he is not the President (by law). He's going to contest the 2027 elections as a sitting president. If he wins freely and fairly, we would accept it. And no one would have to go to court to contest it. End.

OBI AND ATIKU FAILED NIGERIANS No matter what Obi says today about Atiku, it would not help his cause, because be has been a VP candidate to Atiku. Most of the arguments against Atiku today have been debunked by Obi himself. If he ran with him in 2019, and you claim that Atiku is a person of questionable character, then where do you place Obi? If he ran with a person of questionable character in 2019, who used obviously used transactional politics to get the ticket and made him VP and he accepted, what has changed today? Why is now that he can no longer tolerate transactional politics? It affects his selfish interest. Simple. These 2 men have a long history of working together. Why can’t they sort things out in the interest of 200 million Nigerians? This is the question that both of them cannot answer. They are willing to trade Nigerians to APC after all they have seen APC do under Tinubu, just for their selfish ambitions and ego. I will never support such men.

THE MANY HYPOCRISIES OF PETER OBI As I officially bring an end to my days of supporting @PeterObi, let it be known that it was with reason. Yes, I chose to support Rotimi Amaechi for the ticket in ADC, but I still wished Peter Obi well as a politician and as a person. No more. If you want to attack me, you better come with facts. Why I chose CRA over PO will be addressed later in this thread. For now, we’d look at the all the hypocrisies of PO.

@winnerbet7 @EkeneAninze Atiku is aware that it is still the turn of the SOUTH, this is the same issue that led to the destruction of PDP, Even if the election is btw Atiku and BAT, he'll likely lose for that same reason. He should respect the zoning. At this point, it looks like he's working for APC.

Atiku wanted to play a smart game, but it backfired. He knew that if he could get Obi to contest the primaries with him, he will dollarize the primaries and clinch on the ticket. He also knew that by then, Obi will be trapped to supporting him, because he will be barred from participating in any other Primary election pursuance to the Electoral Act. But what he didn't know is that anything his witch doctor told him, Obi and Kwankwaso witch doctors also heard. Let everyone carry their cross.

Tribal bigótry Ọbasanjọ was Yoruba and was President for 8yrs. Under his reign, the lot of an average Yoruba man was not different from the lot of an average person from other region. Buhari was president for 8yrs and the north saw no improvement. Rather, insurgency increased, the number of out of school children skyrocketed.. Peter Obi was governor for 8yrs. The lot of an average Anambran suffered. Many lost their lives from his negligence. Quit this delusion of turn-by-turn. It must always be the turn of competence and good governance
