@Jeppez420 What/how do you do your backtesting?

Flew back home last night. Couldn't get sleep coz I started thinking of a new setup when I hit the bed. Today did rough backtesting on it with 3 month data. Took me 15min. I'd say those are some decent stats without any optimization yet. After I get the long term data and do some optimization & study this could be another addition to my algo playbook. Those steps should take me 4-8h after the data is in place. That's the basic process that's always ongoing for me. Almost every day checking the biggest movers, how did they behave -> build a database in your mind (or actual database if you're not as lazy as me these days). Think how you could long/short with +EV. Talk with other (good) traders to get some new perspective. And then just let your mind do the rest. The ideas can come up suddenly when you least expect it. Now this setup in question... If the long term stats & optimization end up showing similar, or even 1/2 of this performance I expect I can make low 7 figs with this setup alone in the next 12 months. Add it to the algo. Move to the next setup.

I Sverige har de 10% fattigaste tillgång till i princip samma sjukvård och utbildning som resten av befolkningen. Iaf majoriteten av befolkningen. Det har de inte i USA.

I have been at this trading business since 2006. I struggled for well over 10 years to find my way. I never gave up. The only thing that saved me is hating losses. I always always cut and run as soon as my positions goes against me. I had that stomach sickness feeling seeing the slightest red. I have always been a weak hand and that served me well. It's why I'm still here. I, no more, feel excitement or fear. And I like it that way. I simplified my process to looking for low risk entries and I am oblivious to every thing else....... This didn't happen overnight. It took years. The bullishness right now is off the charts. But that means nothing to me. I am still about 50% invested. And I really don't care what you think.
