@teslascope I got it! Finally!

As we predicted an hour ago, a third wave of Full Self-Driving V14.3.6 (for AI4) and V14 Lite (for AI3) is now going out via 2026.20.6.11! This wave is predominantly AI3 vehicles, but AI4 is also included.

@ChuckCook @itsyigitgungor I’ll make a comprehensive post about this later today, been taking screenshots of the autopilot banks and trip weights for the past… idk 3-6 months give or take, they’ve change the banks quite a lot, the trip weights haven’t changed before now tho, to my memory

@itsyigitgungor This is an interesting analysis. I have never taken screen shots of the memory used in the Service Mode on each version. Is anyone else doing this?

I have no idea how this makes sense, but both the model and trip weights of v14 Lite are smaller than the last v12.6.4 build. Clearly there is quite a bit of headroom especially in terms of weights. 30% weight increase, to match v12, can make this really good build incredible. @SawyerMerritt @wholemars @ChuckCook @DirtyTesLa @JonBbC_TechGeek @Tesla_AI @aelluswamy

Everyone is getting v14 lite but me 😢

A SpaceX intern once described eating lunch next to Elon Musk in the company cafeteria. The intern said Elon sat down at a regular table with a regular tray of food. No entourage. No reserved section. He sat next to two junior engineers who were clearly terrified. One of them was explaining a problem with a valve component to the other. Elon listened without introducing himself or interrupting. After about three minutes he turned to the engineer and said "have you tried running it at a lower pressure gradient first." The engineer stared at him. Then realized the CEO of the company had just casually solved a problem his team had been stuck on for a week. The intern said what happened next was the part that surprised him. Elon didn't leave. Didn't check his phone. He spent the next twenty minutes asking the engineers questions about their work. Not CEO questions about timelines and budgets. Engineering questions about fluid dynamics and material stress tolerances. He was genuinely curious. The cafeteria conversation was indistinguishable from a technical review. The intern said he understood in that moment why people work 80-hour weeks for this man. Not because he's inspiring. Not because he pays well. Because he's the only CEO in the world who sits in the cafeteria and solves your engineering problem between bites of a burrito. People follow leaders who are above them. People worship leaders who sit next to them and prove they understand the work better than the people doing it.

@RJTesla I find that I usually get the updates pushed to me later in the evening eastern time, it’s usually pretty consistent, wonder if there’s a reason for that

FSD V14 Lite update of 2026.20.6.10 now rolling out to customers with HW3 hardware. This update seems to be going to customers who weren't early FSD tester, so check your HW3 Teslas for this freshly baked FSD V14 Lite update.

@teslascope I’m already seeing evidence where the car thinks the spot I parked at overnight is a parking spot that I could select to then run auto park, wonder if it’s related

Designated spot selection (and improved parking memory) coming in a future Full Self-Driving release. We'd tentatively guess within the next 1-2 months. Not too far from now.

FSD v14 Lite (for Tesla AI3 hardware vehicles) review. This is the version that’s likely going to wide release.

for those who have joined us in the past few years, we didn't just get fsd one day we got an update that let us *request it* and if you were super good, they'd send it to you along with an email at 3 am weeks later

Still need to finish the drive to be sure but it already feels way smoother. Maybe more relaxed but early to call that. Makes the right decisions but does it smoothly. No jitter. No uncomfortable lane changes. If anything a hair slow on some lane changes but very smooth. Confident and stays centered really well. Another real improvement since the last time I posted about it.

My guess is they are testing pieces of v14 in some capacity without the new UI and without reverse yet until that stuff is more solid. From what testers say online it can be hit or miss by region and parking. Overall for me so far it has been really good.

Woke up and got in the HW3 car on FSD Supervised and it is driving dramatically different and smoother. Not making a bunch of the mistakes it was making yesterday. I think another build got pushed OTA without a big visible update.
