Correct, back in the day, the cars never hit their EPA numbers, now they can beat them in mildly ideal conditions As an example, my model 3 new had 82kwh, with a 3-5kwh buffer, so to get the 353 miles as advertised 79000/353=223.796 wh/mile I couldn’t get 223 wh/mile on the best of days, I average closer to 260 at best However even with the same batteries, the new cars are far more efficient

@Volts_PC @cybrtrkguy From start to finish of each model year, it looks like only a 10% degradation, since it starts at a lower percentage of EPA as you say. Seems like Tesla have been improving its efficiency towards the EPA estimate every year.

Using Tesla's OWN data, this website is now tracking average Battery Degradation across all of Tesla's used vehicles for sale. 81% battery health after 100k miles or 7 years is... astonishingly terrible.

Where does Tesla get the AQI data from? My truck says it’s 791, which is “emergency” level air quality. Causes death with long term exposure Whatever that reading is, is NOT accurate.
