Woke up and am now benched, obviously haven’t been playing the best lately but I think this move is made without thinking what we made with beastcoast/m80. (The ONLY NA team to win anything in 4 years). Initial thought is I still want to play obviously, but we will see what’s next

Agree with what @T3br6 tweeted about this - pros are told to build a brand/make content, then when they do, this happens.
Anyone reducing SR's struggles to "Spoit low on leaderboard, Spoit bad, content to blame" are just showing their inability to think for more than a second.

I can’t believe I even have to say this, but it’s time to air it out. People are questioning my commitment because of content creation — which makes no sense. I still put in the same level of practice, VOD review, and team work as every other pro. On top of that, I spend another 4–6 hours a day creating content. That’s not a distraction — that’s more time invested into the game and into improving. Have I had a slow start this stage? Yes. I’ll own that. But this has nothing to do with effort or commitment and there is a lot more than meets the eye. I put more into this than most — and I know exactly what I’m capable of. If you’re doubting me, that’s fine. Just don’t forget this moment. I’ll prove you wrong.

@LiYoCS @KingGeorge I know this. I also know he has still got the highest wage in the world not considering brand deals or his YouTube content. Spoit has his role to play and he hasn’t played it properly since KOI, saying that as an M80 fan who watched Spoit heavily. Spoit was good, not great.

@Vytrzao @KingGeorge You need to understand that you don’t get paid purely for performance. Name brand and name value brings much more money to the orgs than any performance you can put on the server. If you are marketable you are worth money and that’s what you really get paid for

For the record I have personally seen him turn down content creation opportunities to concentrate on pro play.
I hosted a creator tournament for $10,000 with most of the largest R6 creators. He told me he was not able to play due to having scrims. So I personally believe him.

@SparkUpJayy @KingGeorge I know he would shit on me it’s hardly a shocker, but as a very much big Siege esports fan of 8 years, I can still call out if someone is playing like shit, regardless of whether they’re better or not. Spoit doesn’t work on this SR system full stop 🤷🏽♂️

@Indigoo37 @KingGeorge I’ve defended Spoit a lot prior, especially as an M80 fan when he eventually joined and I’ve watched him since the Rogue days and he stopped performing at that top level the second he went to NA. This SR system with Troy doesn’t work for his play style

@Laxing At the end of the day they are a roster of players being paid more in a month than players like JJ get in a year and with their roster they have high expectations to perform well. If they play shit, they deserve criticism. They can’t be shielded from that at their level 🤷🏽♂️

I will double down and say the hate is definitely forced and gets annoying towards SR. Now do I believe they’re playing their best even close to it, fuck no.
But the constant hate is so forced and the second they perform or do well, immediately people will switch up like a dime
