They took him to Café Platform in Tehran. The Sorting Hat was placed on his head. He wore Slytherin robes and a green scarf, held a wand in his hand, and blew out his birthday candles like a kid living inside his favorite story. Days later, in Tehran, he was shot by a bullet and turned into a name that must never be forgotten. In memory of Sina, forever 17 years old 🪄
Iranian women’s football national team just used sign language to communicate “Help” Theyre being held hostage and threatened by the regime. The regime in Iran labeled them “traitors” on national TV and promised a “severe punishment” once they return from Australia.
I’m outraged by this hateful, anti-Muslim attack in our city. No one should be targeted with slurs, threats, or violence—ever. Muslim New Yorkers deserve to move through this city in safety and dignity. Islamophobia has no place here, and we will not tolerate it.
The American people are witnessing a full blown breakdown in the Senate. We have a piece of overwhelmingly popular legislation that still can’t get passed thru. This entire ordeal has exposed the failures of our system to truly represent the voters. It’s all so corrupt.
