@NickyAACampbell What a beautiful video of your gorgeous dog and companion, Maxwell. What a handsome dog. This is Bo, she was a rescue dog and we were lucky to have her in our lives for 10 years. She died last yr and we miss her so much.

I see today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay.
This video always hits me like a metaphorical ton of bricks, despite numerous re-watches. A hugely powerful message. ❤️

@pmcdonough22 @Otto_English I do not care
English

@Otto_English Nobody? Really? You don’t find this a little bit petty? And besides, she was probably one of the greatest PM’s ever. Everyone knows this.

Baroness Jacqui Smith(Education Minister) hits the nail on the head when it comes to the Thatcher portrait.
" I don't think whether or not you shift a portrait from one room to somewhere else is the most pressing issue of the day."

@francesbarber13 I disagree. He has to work there, not you. He can put the picture where he wants. He hasn’t thrown it out. Grow up.
English

@ArleneFosterUK What a bizarre load of comments. Apparently as I understand he’s moved the picture (not got rid of it). Seriously, who really cares where the pic is put??!! More importantly why is Charlotte Owen in the HoL?? Answer that please!
English

I think it is “unsettling” that the PM should remove the first female PM from No 10. He cannot deny her role in our nation - the most significant PM after Churchill. Not a good start from Labour, looks and feels vindictive and petty. telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/…

@imnotspartacus I agree, her closing speech last night was tremendous. Heartfelt. And inclusive of everyone infront of and behind the camera. Fantastic! Thank you BBC to all the commentators and pundits. World class. Hope you all had a well-deserved celebration!

@theGrit_music @Bobby_Seagull Me too x it’s how you’ve been brought up and your own common decency. It’s like when someone smiles at you when you are on a walk in the park/ countryside…. Costs nothing but means a lot 🥰

@RobertLindsay Hi Robert, this was our Bo. She was a rescue dog who passed away last year. We loved her so much. We know what you’re going through and the greatest gift is Lola knows how much you love her.

@WeybridgeComhub @ElmbridgeBC Incredibly sad news. A brave and hardworking lady of the community. She did so much good for Weybridge. My heart goes out to her family. Deepest condolences.

@GjocsJones We need to see the accounts. If there is nothing to hide then no problemo. I run a small business and my accounts are there for all to see via companies Hse. £37bn was tax payers money. Look forward to finding out where the money has gone. Thank you.

@RichardUKPatri1 @GavWilson Am I the only one who thinks dressage is so boring? If it was in any way natural, horses would do all those funny steps but it’s not. Why make them do it? Poor horses. Let them be free to express themselves in their own horsey way.
English

@GavWilson I guess anyone watching Dressage has to ask themselves...how DO they get these horses to dance so splendidly? By asking nicely and sugar cubes?

They partied
She did not
She followed the rules
Like the rest of us
And then they partied again…

Undecided? A gentle reminder.

@MattStaniek @Feargal_Sharkey @ChrisGPackham @CraigBennett3 @sascampaigns @campbellclaret @GaryLineker @timfarron @GreenJennyJones @HugoSAS @terrybnd We were at the rally on 29 June. Brilliant and so well organised. Big respect to you Matt. We love the Lakes and respect the natural beauty. Rivers, lakes and seas should be clean and free from sewage. Keep going. The message is loud and clear. Now the new Govt must act.

SIGN THE 10 POINT PLAN FOR A SEWAGE FREE WINDERMERE
savewindermere.com
On 29th June, we held our March to Save Windermere, and we were blown away. It was such an incredible event and seeing everyone come together to share the simple message of “stop the sewage in Windermere”, was truly amazing. A huge thank you to all who attended and of course to our amazing team and our volunteers.
Whether you made it to the march of not, you can now help the campaign by signing our 10-point plan for a sewage-free Windermere. As soon as the new government is in power, we will be driving the conversation forward and pushing for the implementation of this plan as the only way to protect our lake for future generations.
