I understand the angst at OWGR only awarding 10 places... but by doing so it's likely MORE LIV guys qualify for majors than if they distributed points further down.
As an example... at the Riyadah SoF level, 1st place is getting ~23 points... here's the breakdown of ~1st place points if points were awarded further down the finish list.
23.0 = 1st place points awarding 10 places
20.1 = 1st place points - 15 places
18.5 = 1st place points - 20 places
16.8 = 1st place points - 30 places
15.6 = 1st place points - 49 places
How this matters - Puig is currently projected to be ranked at best #93 this week if he earns 0 points. But if he wins he goes up to provisional #46. (this is before adding in PGAT and DPWT finishes, so likely he would be something like 48-50)
But if points were awarded to 20 places... best provisional spot for Puig is 49th. if points awarded to 30 places best Puig could be is 54th. 49 places (which would be by standard format)... best Puig could be is 58th.

Breaking it all down very simply... by awarding points to 10 places, what we're in effect seeing is 70% of points being awarded. That's a 30% reduction for LIVs deficiencies. If LIV can make further improvements, maybe they can get to up to 15 places being awarded points... which would be OWGR effectively awarding 80% points. But I'm not sure there's a path to 100% points. I'm seeing it as a Catch-22, because additional changes that improve meritocracy beyond getting to say 80% points, likely starts to so severely impede the team concept, it's not worth it... so why would LIV want to do that? I dunno, that's all beyond me.

2) Most of the world fucking hates us because we act like we’re above the law and constantly violate the sovereignty of other nations with no regard for civilians, often killing hundreds of thousands and displacing millions.
This happens both with overt attacks like in Iraq and Venezuela, as well as clandestine operations and coups like in Iran (1953) and Nicaragua.
